So I decided to buy my first Clevo from PWN PCS ( PWN PCS - Custom Built Performance and Gaming Laptops), who is active on these boards. The reason being they seem to be a solid company and know what they are doing and also have stellar reviews from people on here who previously bought from them.

    Got the following one:

    Clevo W350STQ

Screen: 15.6" 1080p Full HD Matte
Dead Pixel Guarantee - For full systems only: None
Screen Calibration: SPYDER 4 Professional screen calibration - Requires Windows
    GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 765M
    CPU: I7 - 4700MQ Quad Core 2.4GHZ
Thermal Compund: IC DIAMOND / Arctic Silver Thermal Compund on CPU and GPU
    Overclocking - requires Windows: None
BIOS: PWN PCs High Performance Custom BIOS
    RAM: 8GB DDR3 Dual Channel 2 x 4GB
MSATA SSD Drives: No MSATA Drive
    Hard Drive: 120GB Kingston SSD
Second HDD: No Second Hard Drive
Third Hard Drive - Must select optical bay caddy: No Third Hard Drive
Optical Drive: DVDRW 8X Super Multi Drive
    Operating System: No operating system
Connectivity: Intel 7260 802.11BGN WiFi + Bluetooth Combo Card (300mbps)
Power Cord: UK Standard Power Cord
Keyboard - Non UK may add to build time: UK Layout Keyboard
    Additional Battery: None
Warranty: 2 Year Warranty RTB on case and components, 1 year on screen, 9 months batteries - Lifetime free labour

Total including shipping was 924 pounds. Decided I'll install Windows 8 on my own.

Placed my order and made payment by bank transfer on January 6th. Scott has been extremely kind and helpful with all the questions I have had so far. Order is still in pre-production phase. Yesterday, I was notified that they had identified a faulty motherboard from Clevo and were waiting to get a new one. Not PWN PCS' fault. Guess I'll be waiting a little longer for my order to arrive (I live in London) but it's worth it obviously (don't want a faulty motherboard that's for sure ha!). So far I've had a great experience with PWN PCS.

I'll come back on here with updates. I can't wait to get my hands on my Clevo! :)

Has anyone else bought from PWN PCS recently?
