    My XoticPc experience (impulse buying meets customer service)

    So when it all started, I was looking to spend $1200 at the most on a gaming laptop, after what I thought was extensive research, pulled the trigger on a gx60. Then I started digging through this forum and realized the horrible mistake I had made. Contacted DerekS (my main rep throughout this process), and told him that I had made a horrible mistake by impulse buying the GX. So he promptly cancelled my order and expedited the process of getting me the MSI 1757 barebones setup.

    Little to my knowledge (being my own worst enemy), that was in itself a knee jerk reaction/impulse buy. The computer might have been great, but something told me it's just not what I wanted. The port setup was not ideal and once again the heat issues were scaring me. Also, since my computer is essentially my bedroom tv, the gt series speakers were just calling my name. So, ring up Derek again, he's completely understanding of my idiocy when it comes to impulse buying. Never a hint of "oh this guy again" in his voice, after 10+ phone calls back and forth about different shipping addresses, computer setups and discount questions. Mind you, the barebones was hours away from being shipped.

    He cancelled that order, and puts me on the fast track to getting the gt70 on the way. It showed up, 4 days faster than I was expecting. Perfect working order and It's been devouring any game I can throw at it.

    Major props to DerekS and the staff at Xotic, Erin and Alea the payment reps were extremely prompt and courteous throughout the entire process as well. The have a customer for life and I will recommend them when ever the opportunity presents itself.
