Hey guys I finally get to write a review I'm sure I'll add on to it because I've only had the laptop for a couple of hours now. Ok so those who have followed me or just recognize my user name know I was in the market for buying a laptop in December, bought an HP DV6 didn't work out for gaming plus it had dead pixels so I sent it back because this would be my first laptop ever. So I browsed on the board and after reading all the reviews and getting opinions from users I went with Malibal.

Ordered on Dec. 27 got my laptop on Jan. 13. Everything looked good but then I realized there was a dead pixel so that kind of put me off because I wanted my first laptop to be nice and clean. However the Malibal rep here was very nice and gave me an RMA to change the screen out I would only have to pay for shipping. A little rift or miscommunication came when I talked to the Malibal live agent online about when it would be coming back. Long story short tried to give me a refund I had my files still on the computer, no screens in stock, had to wait, but now to the present.

I've been messing with the laptop and I love it just like when I first got it. No dead pixels this time although the top of the screen frame has these marks almost feels like glue but like dots that I can't rub off. I checked the specs and temps looks good so far. I'm still scratching my head on how they reset my password on windows 7 because you need to log in but when I turned on my computer my account was still there but no password.

I've tested out a couple of games and it runs smooth. The only thing I did notice was the sound isn't that great it almost sounds like on my laptop that it only comes out of the right speaker. I tried adjusting the speaker volume to nothing but the left but it sounds so faint not as strong as the right one.

Overall I love the laptop and thank Malibal for helping me out I will add more later but I'm just enjoying using my first ever laptop. If anyone has any tips or advice to give a new laptop user let me know thanks :)

Also I want to note they upgraded my processor from i7 2630 to 2670 for free because they didn't have the one I ordered in stock.

The processer upgrade is pretty cool, I would have expected to have to wait for the right one.

We pay shipping both ways while under the parts warranty, however - this issue wasn't covered under this warranty, so that's why they had to pay the shipping cost.
