    Hi Everyone,

Ordered a P771ZM IPS barebones from CEG with i7-4790K (repasted with IC Diamond), 330W PSU. Killer 1525AC card and UK keyboard. Will be using the 970M GPU I already have along with 16GB Hyper X Impact RAM

27/8: Ordered Placed. Been in contact with CEG since Tuesday/Wednesday. They have answered my every question and have been prompt in their response. Got quite a decent deal from them IMO. Was around 8p.m when I placed order and was told that they had to wait for Paypal to clear the payment. Payment was all fine on my end.

28/8: Ordered shipped. Tracking has been provided and should be delivered by DPD. Was told that order details only have been uploaded as Germany shuts down pretty early on Friday and order should progress on Monday. Hoping I receive it by Tuesday - Wednesday. They also included some thermal pads (very nice of them) and a USB stick with all drivers.

31/8: DPD picked up package today. Strangely once that happened, tracking didn't update. It seems DPD couldn't be bothered to move it along their parcel chain. Around 5p.m, I went to DPD UK Website and paid for upgraded delivery for tomorrow for £5... Then only parcel left depot for the UK... My opinion of DPD isn't helped by this.. Well hopefully everything should be fine tomorrow when I get it :)

4/9: Finally got the parcel today! Unpacked it, installed everything and am just installing OS etc... First impressions, Batman much sleeker then my Alienware however I'm not that impressed with display... It's a bit too yellow for me... Hopefully something can be done about it... There isn't any light bleed problems, just needs some calibration IMO...

5/9: Well I kind off cocked up putting in the 16GB RAM below the keyboard..Removed the keyboard backlighting cable.... Well fixed that today and now I have 32GB Hyper X Impact 2133MHz RAM... My system flies!

So my 2 gripes are the LCD being a bit yellow (seems to be a common problem with calibration with IPS display)...That is fixable... And indeed fixed it with an ICC Profile + tweaks in NVIDIA controll pannel: Used profile from here http://www.notebookcheck.net/uploads/tx_nbc2/P771ZM.icm

Use this profile and try these tweaks in NVIDIA control pannel, I used the ones here as a starting point : https://rog.asus.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-58738.html

    My Settings are

    All channels: Brightness/Contrast: 52/35
    Red: 52/42
    Green: 52/27 or 52/30
    Blue: 52/40..

I didn't change Gamma or anything else... yellow hue is now gone :)

Main problem is that I'm not impressed by the keyboard.. I've had the Esc and F8 keys come out and I had to push them back in... Will talk to CEG and see what can be done.. Other then that, they have delivered and given me a good 4790K... in fact, seems to be an excellent one..

Update: Well after those 2 keys came out, I pressed them back in and I haven't had any problems... I talked to CEG and they were willing to RMA keyboard if I put a 100 Euro deposit down and send the old one in... I didn't have the funds to do that now so I will probbably look at it at the end of the month if it happens again... So far, keyboard works fine so I'm ok with it...

On the whole, 9.5/10 CEG :)

@clevo-extreme, many thanks for the great notebook, you gave me a perfect i7-4790K too :)
