    INTRODUCTION :-

My first ever experience ordering a gaming laptop online and also of posting a new thread on a forum so i apologize in advance if what i write here seems a little off in comparison to other people's experience and their style of making thread, that being said ordering a gaming laptop for me had become an ordeal because i live in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai) and have to get my order shipped always wondering about what i have to do next and so began the search for a reputable and reliable gaming laptop re-seller,

At first there were many choices and i felt like a kid at a candy store who could not decide what to take and how much but slowly the reality settled in and i grasped as to what ordering online really means about and to sum it up according to me it depends on 2 very important things, firstly an online re-seller should provide exact details on what is supposed to go in your machinery and different upgrades which can make your machine powerful, efficient and in your budget, secondly a good customer service staff who knows what the hell they are talking about and can help the customer in any way possible, be available on the phone and also online for chats and e-mails to satisfy the customer's queries.

Then came the final decision of ordering from the company which according to me will be the best to suit my needs and i got it down to 2, first choice XoticPC and second ExcaliberPC but not HIDevolution yet because i had not even heard about it and i had no idea it existed, so i tried to contact ExcaliberPC but nothing no response to my e-mail, nobody available to chat to but i somehow ended up ordering an ASUS G752VS Overclock Edition and received an e-mail will all the details and also bank details to wire transfer the money so my order could be processed but after the e-mail nothing, i tried to get in contact with them to clear some doubts but till this date no reply, so eventually ended up with XoticPC and then wanted to order an MSI GT73VR (Mind you both the laptops had GTX 1070) because i was still not sure what i wanted and always changed from ASUS to MSI and back but the same problem plagued me again no one to help me.

In the end while i was looking at some forums to check on SAGER-clevo laptops because i read about their performance was just breathtaking depending on what is inside these laptops and ended up on notebookreview where i started reading all the reviews about the service of HIDevolution and their EVOC brand of laptops and kept on reading more and only read about their stellar reviews and how good and professional they are in upgrading the machines and above all helping customers make up their damn minds on what they want and not what they need eventually i ended up on posts and thread by PHOENIX who incidentally resided also in Dubai and what i read from him just cemented my position to order from HIDevolution.

    ORDER PLACEMENT :-

Following the posts i ended on HIDevolution and started browsing and noticed immediately that the prices they were offering on various gaming brands is actually competitive and in some instances cheaper than other places and started to configure an ASUS , then an MSI but when i looked at EVOC i was totally blown away at what i could put in my laptop depending on the price which resulted in much better specifications than ASUS or MSI ,
that did it for me i went to their live chat and started chatting with DONALD and we together went ahead in specifying and upgrading the system to the price point on which i could agree and still have a beast of a gaming machine, detailed specifications below :

    06th Of September 2016

Order Placed with DONALD'S help and received e-mail confirming order with instructions on how to wire transfer money to them.

    07th Of September 2016

Payment made through wire transfer to bank account details provided to me (ended up costing me a hand and leg but still worth it) and have informed HIDevolution.

Now i am waiting for any update from my bank or from HIDevoution

Overall my experience to the point of ordering my laptop from HIDevolution was just so fulfilling that i did not have the time to notice that i decided on what i wanted to buy and with what upgrades, settled on a price point which was very good, ordered the damn thing, received e-mail confirmation and wire transferred the amount all while being in constant contact with either DONALD or TED at HIDevolution and only in 24 Hours and appreciating my decision on what i just ordered.

DONALD even helped me with my RAM configuration, i had opted for 32GB DDR4 2666 MHZ and he told me that this much RAM s unnecessary for gaming purposes and then instead suggested 16GB DDR4 3000 MHZ for only additional 10$ which by the way was not even being displayed on the selection tab of RAM's and i ended up doing what he suggested, now can anyone tell me how much more customer friendly can a staff get to go above and beyond in making me realize my dream gaming machine.

I will keep adding to this post as my order progresses but i will surely beforehand advice anyone looking for a laptop (gaming or otherwise) to be please visit HIDevoution.com and order because they are the best.

    EDIT :-

    07th Of September 2016
Payment Review has been completed and my order will go into production soon.

    12th Of September 2016
    Order is in Pre-Production Now.

    13th Of September 2016
Received an e-mail form DONALD that my EVOC P775DM3-G has failed Q.C., and it was their last one in stock but have another shipping coming in next week from SAGER so my order will be delayed a bit. I will wait.

    13th Of September 2016
Order is now shown as Parts/Product On Order.

    21st Of September 2016
I have upgraded my warranty to 1 Year Global Warranty from HIDevolution with 2 instances of shipping from Dubai to the US if or any problems arise and this costed me an extra $150 so now my total cost for the laptop will be $3,237.60.
    Order In now In Production.

    22nd Of September 2016
Received another e-mail from DONALD that my system does not boot with DDR4/3000MHz memory and that they will have to drop to DDR4/2800MHZ, so now memory downgraded to 16GB G0SKILL RIPJAWS DDR4/2800MHZ.

    23rd Of September 2016
    Order now in Production.

    24th Of September 2016
Finally, my system is ready and has been packed and shipped through FEDEX now the real waiting game begins.

    28th Of September 2016
My Order has arrived only after 4 days in transit, so it took a total of 23 days for my order to be completed and shipped and received by me, it too some time but if their quality testing department would have not failed their last piece (which thankfully they did) then i would have gotten a lot earlier, overall the experience with ordering from HIDevolution was pleasent.

I will review my laptop with tests and scores in a separate thread.

Also i forgot to mention that DONALD gave me 2 separate discounts on the total price, one for payment by wire transfer and the other for posting what i clearly feel about my experience of ordering from HIDevolution on notebookreview for which i am eternally grateful.

You may be waiting a while as these new machines are in high demand with relatively low supply. My build, which is similar to yours, has been on backorder for nearly a week because a defect was found during the build phase that required a new system shell, and apparently they ran out of them. So you're going to need to be patient here.

My P650RS config has been delayed for 3 weeks... So yeah high demand is right... I've still been kept informed though so its cool, its worth waiting for the Prema Bios.

Bro, please upgrade your warranty to the global warranty option as that covers shipping costs of parts and/ or the entire machine if you ever need to send it to them so you won't have to pay shipping.

The great thing about HIDevolution is, if a small parts needs replacement that you are comfortable in replacing yourself, they will send you that part right away and they pay for shipping, then they will send you the FedEx guy to your house in a few days to collect the old part. How convenient is that? when I had an ASUS ROG gaming laptop, it stopped booting after a week, so I took it to their service center in Deira and had to wait for 7 freakin' days for them to change the motherboard on a brand new laptop. Then then when they replaced it, they gave me the laptop back with a loose screen/panel cable so it was constantly disconnecting. So glad you went with Clevo and HIDevolution

If you ever need help with upgrading, repairing, troubleshooting your machine, The Phoenix is your live support here in Dubai ;)

Once you get your machine, I will call you and give you a step by step walk through of the BIOS options (when they release the Prema BIOS for your machine)

That will be awesome PHOENIX because frankly i have no idea on how to adjust the BIOS options and Overclocking is something i have never tinkered about it but would really like to get the most out of my machine.

By the way, what do you think about my configuration, especially the RAM ?

It's nice that you share your good experience but leaving out the total price you paid is like omitting the punch line.
Any seller can coddle and make me feel warm inside. Price is everything...I spent 10 minutes in front of Garry at Eurocom in Ottawa.....he gave me a great price. He was all business He didn't even laugh at my jokes lol.

    $3599 Canadian.

But with 2400mhz ram and 4k screen.

I am sorry for not posting the price earlier, as i have mentioned this is my first thread i have ever made in a forum and was bound to make mistakes or omit some details like the price which for my system with all the upgrades has cost me 2,986 $ (US) and if add the shipping cost to Dubai then the total amounts to 3,098 $ (US)

    Heck NO.

Quality, customer service and features is everything. The last thing is price. You get what you pay for. Eurocom's customer service is the worst in the world and this is coming from a person who owns a Eurocom machine. Never again!

That attitude does you no good Phoenix..

Everyone has their own opinion on each reseller and experience with them.. You should respect it even of your experience is different..

Even I think more and more each day that Hide pays you... Or gives you some special discount because your fanboism is becoming too much evident!!

What do j00 want me to say? I have a Eurocom system and the support from Eurocom in my experience was appalling. Then he stated otherwise so I said good for him. I am a fan boy of good service. Period. I am in Dubai and have no connection with any company other than being loyal to who gives me good service. Once that changes my stance would change. Next on my list is maybe to get a machine from LPC Digital because of great of customer service Larry from LPC Digital has given me even though I am not his customer. You fail to see the big picture. If you don't like my posts simply put me on your ignore list.

Maybe tell your buddy Fox that in the 10XX series discussion about attitude.

Customer service can be a crapshoot. Eurocom and XoticPC both have had great customer service with many customers. But you need to look beyond personal anecdotes and look more at the bigger picture. HID and LPC are the two resellers with the least negative reviews around here, thus making them my standard recommendations to buy from from a reliability standpoint.

This is also wrong. Opportunity cost is everything, not cost. What matters is if paying extra is worth it to you. I won't recommend HID to someone looking to squeeze the absolute best price to performance out of their budget when LPC has the same hardware for 200 bucks less.

Edit: lol sorry @Phoenix I edited after you liked if u wanna take that back.

Origin pc offer the P775dm3 for a couple hundred more than the average reseller
People love to hate on them.

They do, however, give a standard zero bad pixel guarantee.

Also, lifetime free labor as the standard warranty ( two years on parts)

So I could pay a little more for a nice feeling that I actually believe that to be true...but I don't. Probably an empty warranty promise and hurdles and hurdles to go through to get it.

Eurocom Canada is basically down the street for me so if I have warranty issues I can bang directly on their door lol

That was extremely condescending when I was literally just sharing my experiences/opinion. If you didn't like what I had to say, you didn't have to respond. I was contributing to discussion, your reply did not.

I was just pointing out that everyone can have different experiences with companies. You said Eurocom's customer service was the worst in the world and that was not what I had experienced at all, and your statement was quite a large statement to make in and of it self. If you make such extreme statements, don't be surprised when people comment stating the opposite to be true. Just my two cents.

To the best of my knowledge, all Sager/Clevo sellers have a lifetime labor warranty. LPC Digital has a two year parts warranty as standard as well. The dead pixel warranty isn't necessary beyond the first 30 days, IMO. I've owned LCD monitors since 2003 and while some have had dead pixels out of the box, I've never seen one develop over time. Not saying it doesn't happen but the odds are very unlikely especially given how good the tech is today.

Yup, I am not a fan of such extremes statements, "worst in the world" and "best company I've ever dealt with" has zero objectivity to it and spreading it like wildfire does nobody any good. Give factual statements of what actually occurred, let people judge for themselves without introducing biases (and extreme statements). The more Phoenix glorifies HID and raves about their customer service, the more likely I'm to think that he's a paid shill and dismiss HID as a reputable company altogether.

It's rare, but it happens. It's annoying when its a $1000+ color accurate monitor, but Dell has their pixel perfect guarantee so it was okay. Now you've mentioned it, I don't think I've ever seen a Clevo reseller offer anything less than lifetime tech support and labor.

Believe it or not, I actually had 3 dead pixels (dead for sure, they were black) develop over time in an AUO B156HAN01.1, then 1 with the same replacement panel (luckily the second replacement was good). It does happen, even though I always thought it doesn't. I then bought a 19" Acer desktop monitor from a brick and mortar store which had a dead pixel out of the box, but I took it back the store and they replaced it. It sounds like I've had bad luck, but I've also had a lot of good luck especially with more expensive monitors.

lol, not hard to believe. We bought a Hamamatsu sensor a while back for the tune of $100K+, had like 3% dead pixels. Manufacturer said it was okay since it was under 5%, I was not a happy camper that day.

I dunno, I think it's fairly hard to believe that they develop over time, most dead pixels really are there from the start and I knew for a fact mine weren't there from the start.

If you check on other threads phoenix is always telling the same thing about how HID are great. So imo he definitely works for them or has some kind of interest in telling that.
Beside that. There are a lot of real positive feedback out there. From what I've seen as long as everything goes well people seem really satisfied. However if there are any problems people tend to say you will never be answered to. Which is kinda lame. For any problems with your computer you would want to contact the computer brand directly. Which is find for me I guess.
I was really nervous ordering to them because of all those mitigated feedbacks but i did. It represents a huge amount of money for me so I hope everything will be find. I decided to trust them. Let's see how it goes. I'll keep you posted.

He doesn't work for them, but he's very passionate about good customer service, so he loves to recommend them. Im going through an order from HID right now, and the communication has been better than my orders at other places. It feels like I can easily contact my rep and get a same day response. So I mean he's not wrong, he just irks some feathers by trashing other companies a little excessively.

If you had joined the forum a year ago, you would have thought that @Phoenix works for Origin PC, and I am sure before that some other company he was happy with.
He does not work for any of them, he is just the kind of person, who if treated with a little bit of respect and affection ,will stand by you to nth degree. The kind of person who you cannot buy with money but with kindness. And vice versa when he feels he has been wronged by someone.
This is the the reason he sometimes becomes a little too assertive of his statements. I am sure he doesnt mean to offend anyone.

And In this very forum, he has criticize HIDEvolution if he was not happy with them. But HIDE have been so good in their service that they dont normally give anyone reasons to do so.

lol I got no other choice cuz I'm in Canada...
Anyway my Eurocom X4E2 is coming next week, I will live stream the unboxing and testing on Sunday Oct2. Last time they forgot to screw on my laptop battery, hopefully this time is better build quality lol. I have built more than 10 desktop in the past 4 years, so I'm quite confident on my skill to tell if this is a good quality laptop or not.

    @Mr. Fox @Donald@HIDevolution

I just met with the OP shakeeb in a cafe here in Dubai and helped overclock his system to 4.4GHz on all cores with a -110mV offset. Max temps are 88C

Passed all torture tests including wPRIME and AIDA64

Man this P775DM3 is so different than the P870DM. You can easily remove the battery without removing the back cover, it has a separate compartment. Also, you can remove the 2.5" drive bays easily via 4 screws. Looks better to me

Ohh and to my surprise the stock BIOS now has overclocking options to change voltage, power limits, etc.

    Hello All,

Been a frequent visitor to NBR forums and first time posting.

As an owner of two previous Sager notebooks and from Dubai I am interested to know more/ see this beast of a gaming laptop in person @Shakeeb Anjum.

I am currently undecided on the Sager NP9873 , part of me wants to stick with the Sager laptop trend. I first owned one in 2009 SAGER NP8690 and made a second purchase in 2014 SAGER NP9377-S. Both from Xotic PC and never had an issue. It is just the fact that they provide the best value for money, yet they are one of the least attractive gaming laptops in terms of designs.

@Shakeeb Anjum, I would like to very much set up a meeting in Dubai anytime over the weekend to get your thoughts on the laptop and to check it out in person.

The Sager has no Prema BIOS or VBIOS. Get it from HIDEvolution like me and Shakeeb to get the Prema BIOS for free and ther global warranty covers shipping costs both ways should anything go wrong with your taptop, they are the best for international customers like us

    See this: http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/hidevolutions-warranty.784735/

Had a very informative discussion with @Phoenix regarding the CLEVO-P870DM3 model earlier today. Even though i never had issues ordering with XoticPC before I decided to go with HID Evolution.
This is mainly for two reasons, the International warranty option for international customers & the options to accept payment through Paypal and not be limited to wire transfer only.

    Phoenix,
I am also working with Donald to order an EVOC, based on reading your review on the forum. He mentioned you might be willing to help me set up the PREMA bios options remotely. How do I get in line for that?

Once the BIOS is out, I will help you guys out as we are part of the EVOC team now. it's very simple yet might seem daunting at first.

Once you have your machines and ones HIDevolution sends you the BIOS, I will connect to you via Skype and walk you through the steps

    Here's a teaser:

That would be outstanding! So what's your recommendation on RAM? I had 32 gb 2800 mhz selected. I saw someone post about a 3000 mhz option. Maybe I should go with 16 gb 3000 mhz? If so, lol how do I even select that?

for faster RAM than 2800 MHz. you have to email HIDevolution, it's not listed on their site due to limited stock but they can get it for j00

Thanks again. I'll ask Donald about the 3000 mhz RAM. Btw, I don't post on forums very often. Is it better for me to continue in this thread, or start a new one? I'd like to post my intended build and have Phoenix or someone experienced with EVOC Clevo builds make recommendations.
