Hi, thanks for the kind words - also, I believe $252 is your local GST/PST/HST taxes plus the brokerage, correct?

For Canadians, you normally would pay GST on anything declared as new shipped to you (PST/HST will vary by province). Brokerage will apply unless you go through Canada Post ($5 only), be aware that while UPS and others can have expensive brokerage fees (a % of declared value), sometimes it is included in the express shipping options.

Did you contact all the reps here and find Malibal was cheapest (let's include the shipping value), or did you contact them directly? I realize it will vary by model etc...but I'm curious if the American resellers are a bit cheaper, Canadian a bit more convenient.

I'm living in Canada and I recently bought from Malibal 2 weeks back (although I still haven't received my laptop ...)

I looked into 4 company's 2 Canadian and 2 American and Malibal was the cheapest among the 4 although the others also have price matching.

Among the 4 company's I used various methods, both through this website/pm, and emails.

I went with Malibal mostly because of the quick replies I got from them.

After I get my laptop I'll write a full review of who I contacted and pretty much what I went through before I bought the laptop.

    Cheers!
