Metabox seems to be the only reseller that I am aware of that sells Clevo based laptops in Australia and my dealings with them regarding my P870DM-G were great. I found the staff to be knowledgeable and polite when emailing them or chatting on the phone if I needed to clarify something about my order and I may have been a bit naggy but I would rather things be clarified than misunderstood. What made it better was that they were offering Prema's modded BIOS and vBIOS but only for the P870DM-G, though they are working with @Prema to get more models supported.

When there was a weird discrepancy in the order tracking (was marked as dangerous goods because of the Li-ion battery ....jeez) Metabox was kind enough to investigate because I did just spend nearly $4000 AUD on this laptop so I better get it right and in the end it was all good and I am enjoying the new found power the P870DM-G brings into my life.

For those in Australia that are looking for a Clevo-based laptop then Metabox is a good place to start.

I think the only other option is Venom, and those cost a ridiculous amount for whatever reason.

I had the same experience with Metabox. Dealing with high end notebooks they can expect enthusiasts like us and a lot of questions/concerns regarding machines. I know I had a lot too and they handled all questions professionally in my case.

My only gripe is that about 2 months ago I emailed Metabox regarding an updated BIOS as my machine was shipped before the Prime95 bug came to light so I still need that patch and never got a BIOS back from them after telling me they were working on getting me a newer BIOS. Though in light of Prema working with them perhaps they will ship me a Prema BIOS which fixes that and unlocks a lot more options. Able to perhaps post or PM me where they have stated they are working with Prema on other models? :)

Well, I emailed them about it and they said they only have the Prema BIOS for the P870DM-G. They are working with @Prema to be a full partner and offer it for all models.

Thanks for that information. I'll email them on Monday and see if they have plans on attaining a BIOS for my particular model. :D
Still need that Prime95 bug fixed :p
