Howdy folks. Just wanted to get on here and post how my experience with LPC Digital (and Larry in particular) went.
If anyone happened to see my other thread, they will notice that my original order was immediately lost in transit upon leaving the Sager facility. It was physically scanned at the facility and was literally never seen since. Around 10 days later I started contacting UPS and then after realizing that UPS had no clue where the laptop was, I contacted Larry to try and resolve the issue.
Things couldn't have went any better. Larry and the folks over at LPC Digital (who are NOT the ones that lost laptop) stepped up and immediately built a second laptop with not only a 'super' rush on it, but they also sent it out 2nd day air to avoid the same pitfalls the original laptop fell prey to using ground shipping. I had second the laptop in my hands on the fourth day after they placed the order to build a 2nd laptop.
Larry was very professional (and cool) about the whole situation throughout the process. He stayed in touch with updates on literally every step of the process from the original purchase through the attempt to locate and track the lost laptop all the way to regular updates of the process of replacing it with a second laptop and tracking the delivery it to me.
In the end, I'm really glad I chose to use LPC Digital for the hands-on personal customer service they provide and the manner in which they stepped up when Sager and UPS managed to lose the first build.
I completely recommend LPC Digital for anyone looking to do a custom Sager build. The customer service is so much better than the bigger companies where you never know who is going to answer the phone or what kind of service you're going to get. Sometimes things don't always go as planned with shipping and such, and it's nice to know the company you chose to purchase from will step up and make sure you receive your order no matter what it takes for them to achieve that end.
I will post a review of the laptop soon in a Sager/Clevo thread (hint: I'm really happy with it thus far).
