Just ordered 16L-G-1080 from HIDEvolution

This is basically on my "if I ever get a huge bonus I'm buying this" list.

 

Very Nice machine + HID. Socket hardware all the way The way it should and have to be. But why not i7-7700K ? Next models of processors will come with more cores and threads. More threads is for the future. Even in gaming.

 

I agree, nice machine. Smart people stay away from BGA filth. Great choice in machines and excellent choice in going with HIDevolution as your vendor of choice @Varhalla

@Papusan - Because it is made like a real computer and not a gimped disposable child's toy he can always upgrade to 7700K later.

BGA=Better Get Another (or BGA=Baby Girl Atrocity)

 

It's a reason people don't want BGA in desktops!! Even Intel understand this!! As well AMD!!

 

The price difference is really all that kept me away. If I feel like I need it in the future I can always upgrade, but this should do the trick for now.

Nothing wrong with that. This is the beauty of not being shackled by BGA filth. You can do what you can afford today, and do what you want to later. You made a very wise choice.

 

8/15/2017 order status has moved to In Production.

 

Unit was delivered today. I had to go back to work so I had the shipping adjusted with no issues. Have most of my stuff installed, waiting for better internet to get some other stuff installed. So far running great, the GPU got up to 94C on Dirt 4, however I'm not sure if the fans even kicked on to 100% just yet, so I'm gonna try fiddling around and auto max the fan. May end up undervolting the card just a hair to improve temps. So far very pleased with my 16L-G-1080 from HIDEvolution!

Well I've had the unit for about 3 weeks now. I figured I would chime in with my thoughts. Great experience from HIDEvolution, took me just a hair longer than I thought to get it, but no biggie there. I am 100% satisfied with this computer and HIDEvolution. When I go home I use my desktop as my secondary computer and hook this up to my main monitor and use it as my primary, that's how outrageous this system is. If anyone is on the fence about buying this system or from HIDEvolution in general, don't hold back, they will both do you right!
