Hi,
A friend of mine is looking for a gaming laptop and the Clevo p670ra looks awesome for the price and the default configuration.
However, I'm worried about the mayor disregard for customer service they seem to have, the fact that @clevo-extreme hasn't logged in in months, and that now, all their laptops have some sort of discount.
Are they going under soon? I'm worried about the warranty should anything happen to it, and be forced to keep a lemon because of it (specially after a recommendation of mine).

Well, that was a pretty long hiatus you had there, and considering the general sale you people where having over there, I assumed you were folding. An unfortunate but not that uncommon occurrence.
If I'm not mistaken, any warranty request will have to be fulfilled by us sending and paying the trip. Right?
I was kinda worried as there were barely any feedback in this forum (and not in a positive light). -
I have actually bought stuff from their eBay store and a friend of mine in the US here bought a system from them a while back. Kinda had a small wrong item being shipped issue over eBay, but their owner/manager personally sorted things out. This was last month though.

Let me put it this way: absolutely not!
They behave very shady, send wrong parts, refuse to correct their own mistakes, don't maintain agreements. Additionally I have also been insulted by them for standing up for my rights, not to mention the racisms comments about competition.
Truly appalling experience. One thing on everything else, do not believe what they say. I was a customer id you are wondering and I have kept record of all this by email. I just have no time to waste but I saw the question on this forum and I thought that maybe someone else could benefit from this. Be aware! -

I don't know a lot about it, but if it's like I see on my forum, ceg wasn't very reccomended reseller, and was even banned from forum , for adverts without paying to the forum. Also I heared some opinions, that they don't have real warrant in clevo in DE, but don't know if it's true. Still I wouldn't buy it, too shady things going there was (I don't know, what's with competition, but don't see some many negatives on them).
Is CEG still a recommended choice?
