I am new to custom laptops. I have always built my own Desktop or purchased a prebuilt and upgraded from there. So, this I my first go at custom built laptops. I have been researching it for about 2 months now and have narrowed it down to a Sager/Clevo NP9380/p370sm3. I wanted to know about some specs that weren't included on the customization page for powernotebooks.com.
I sent them an email on Tuesday 10-1 (Abe), and on Friday10-4 (anyone), and then again on Sunday 10-6 (Donald). I still didn't hear back from them. I went over to another website and clicked on their live chat and asked the same questions for the same laptop and they answered them right away.
So, I looked online to see what other sites have said about powernotebooks.com, and the results were favorable. I want to order from Powernnotebooks because there location is closer to where I live in case I need to send it in for service, for faster turnaround time. But if they can't answer a couple of questions on an email sent 3 times, spanning a week, I don't know if I want to give them almost $2000 of my money to build me a laptop. I don't know if this is an anomaly for the company or the norm.
So, my question is, I want to know if anyone here has ever ordered from them before?...And if they have, your experience with them would be greatly appreciated.

very strange that youve had no replys as power notebooks are one of the suppliers we always recommend as well as xotic, prostar and mythlogic.

i think meaker meant a few letters from the email address itself. otherwise they will have to open every email theve got.

Hey david2kool...I checked with Abe, and he never received your email on the 1st, but he did receive the one on the 4th and replied to it at 10:35AM Pacific Time. Then, we don't work on Sunday, so I replied to your email today as you have suggested.
