My new P650HS-G build from HIDevolution is finally in the careful (hopefully merciful) hands of FedEx.
Big thanks to @Donald@HIDevolution for all the help during the ordering/configuration process and for answering all my questions, especially for taking the time to find and confirm the exact specifics of the MUX switch.

I spent a lot of research time on NBR trying to identify the best all around computer for my needs, and almost chose the p950HR, but in the end chose the higher CPU/GPU/RAM/Cooling capabilities of the P650 over a little weight savings. A big factor in the choice was the existence of the MUX switch, first clarified by @Galm - thanks a ton! Likely the machine will split it's time between one SSD with Windows in MShybrid with occasional dGPU mode, and a second SSD solely used for Linux-dGPU.

My goal is to have a super lean, clean GPU computing machine that I can easily tote around daily. With the order help from Donald, hopefully some tweak advice/assistance from @Phoenix, and the eventual bios release from @Prema, this machine should be exactly what I need. I'm really looking forward to checking out the build, then getting it into fighting shape.

In case anyone is wondering about the exact timing of the order process, I've added the update e-mail times below. As you can see, things proceed exponentially as soon as it gets in production (lol)-- a two minute build is quite extraordinary! I didn't include the order date since the clock really doesn't start until they process the check.

P.S. Besides being a great guy, Donald@HIDevolution is also an amateur grammarian of the very best kind :)
