I started with Dell - ordered Alienware Area 51m with i7-9700k and RTX 2070 on Apr 26. I didn't like it because of double brick and the slow down I experienced when the laptop is on battery power.

Then I went to Alienware m15 with i7-8750h and RTX 2080 Max-Q. I didn't like it because it slows down when the laptop is on battery power and overheats like crazy (100 C that Dell claims is within operating limits).

I was waiting for Alienware m15 r2, but they screwed up the release and did not have the RTX 2080 Max-Q and added some backpack. So I decided for MSI GE75 8SG Raider-048 i7-8750h with customization. Knowing the laptop is going to overheat, I knew I needed to get it from a reseller that's going to apply some kind of liquid metal paste for best cooling possible. From the forum, I wanted to use HIDevolution due to their reputation. So I got in contact with Donald, and started my order of MSI.

After I placed my order, I re-evaluated my needs, I realized I needed a more powerful CPU and the difference between i7-8750h vs i7-9700k single core performance was 30%. So, I decided on P750TM1-G, not realizing I was ordering GTX 1080. After a day or two passed, I was looking at the order when I saw my mistake... in any case, Donald was able to help correct the mistake and come to a price point that's agreeable on Jun 18th.

The longest lag time was waiting for the Clevo/EVOC to get to HIDevolution. The order entered into pre-production / production on Jun 26th. Production on Jul 1st, Shipped on FedEx on Jul 2nd. Delivered to me on Jul 8th.

Now, what's amazing is where they placed the 32 gb of RAM. I went to Prema Mod website to download the service manual, fully anticipating that I would need to remove the keyboard in order to install another 32 gb of RAM (I have 64 gb total on this laptop). Imagine how pleasantly surprised I was seeing the open RAM Slot as soon as the back cover was opened!

Thank you HIDevolution & @Donald@HIDevolution for a wonderful shopping experience!
