I realise that this is a sub-forum of Sager and Clevo but I couldn't find any other relevant section to post this and considering HIDevolution is a Clevo Retailer and this review is about my shopping experience with HID it seems appropriate.

Spending a large amount of money on a high end system is a big decision. Choosing the right retailer to partner with to make the purchase is crucial especially if you're shopping internationally. There's a lot of trust involved. I can honestly say I trust HIDevolution wholeheartedly. This review is for my second purchase from them and it's been 6 years apart yet their customer service is still second to none.

When everything goes smoothly it's easy to view a retailer in good light. It's only when things go wrong that the real calibre of a company is revealed and HIDevolution is a shining beacon in this sea of incompetent, unfeeling imposters that promote "good customer service". They treat your order as if it were their own personal purchase. Ted and his team fought Dell's robotic representatives for 3 months after receiving a DOA refurbished Alienware 17 R4. They kept me updated almost on a daily basis throughout this ordeal and managed to push for a brand new system replacement as well as a warranty extension.

Would I make a purchase from Dell again after experiencing Dell's nonsensical and incompetent customer service? Yes I would, but only if it is through HIDevolution. It's comforting to know that as an HIDevolution customer you could be anywhere in the world and have someone in the US that cares about excellent customer service in your corner.

@Ted@HIDevolution I know I've said this numerous times before but THANK YOU. Thank you for providing international PC enthusiasts with HIDevolution's exceptional services. Your work ethic and communication is a benchmark that every company out there should aspire to.

Very nice and this just comes to fortify the solid truth about HIDevolution's excellent customer service that I always talk about.

Likewise, when I bought my MSI GT73VR Titan Pro laptop through HIDevolution which was supposed to have a GSYNC screen, upon receiving it, there was no GSYNC tab in the nVIDIA Control Panel. So I called MSI directly and spoke to 2 different customer service agents and both of them told me: "We never advertised this laptop on our website as being a GSYNC laptop" [IMG] despite me telling them every review site on the internet that has reviewed this laptop say it's a GSYNC Screen. So I contacted HIDevolution and thanks to their excellent contacts with laptop manufacturers, they got me in touch with the seniors from MSI who helped me get this resolved and I had GSYNC on my laptop. It's very crucial these days that you buy from a good system builder/reseller that can give you an additional support level for when bad things happen.

On a side note, since you are an HIDevolution Gaming Team member, let me know if you want me to help you tweak your laptop. Here are the tweaks that I can do for you over TeamViewer:

1- Uninstallation of all the Windows Store Garbage Apps
2- Removing all Windows 10 Privacy Invasion stuff like Telemetry, sending your keystrokes to Microsoft, automatically installing suggested apps in the background, allowing Microsoft to conduct experiments on your laptop, disabling automatic driver updates through Windows updates, disabling Windows 10 ads, disabling cortana, etc.
3- Removal of nVIDIA and Intel Telemetry
4- Adjusting a lot of options in PC Settings like disabling Windows Tablet Mode (you have a laptop not a tablet), disabling suggestions appearing in the start menu, disabling automatically connecting to Paid WiFi Hotspots, disabling Game DVR which reduced performance in games, and a lot more.
5- Replacing Cortana with a much better search tool that finds results instantly
6- Restoring the classic Windows 7 Calculator and Windows Photo Viewer
7- Restoring the Classic Windows 7 Start Menu
8- Turning off smart multi-homed DNS name resolution in Windows which may lead to DNS Leakage when using a VPN (must have Windows 10 Pro for disabling it as it can only be disabled via the Group Policy Editor)

Thank you for your kind offer @Phoenix, it's much appreciated. However I do enjoy the OS optimization process, it's half the fun when setting up a new system :)
