Hello All, I am interested in buying the asus G75vw-RS72 from Gentech. I am not familiar with them as a re-seller of laptops as all as I normally buy my laptops in store.

I was hoping somebody could point me to reviews of the vendor or speak about their personal experience with the vendor.

My biggest issue is I can't stand dead pixels and if I get a laptop with dead pixels, I want a company I know will be able to take the laptop back for a full refund or brand new exchange.

    Thank you all!

I my NP9130 from GenTech just arrived! The screen is amazing; one of the first things I did after unboxing it was to check for dead/stuck pixels (using ms paint, black screen & white screen) and I did not find any. I don't know if it is because I upgraded my screen option (the colors are amazing btw, seems like it puts a tinted filter on all other displays nearby o_O).

I could vouch for their customer service. Ken was my sales advisor, and he was prompt and helpful with any query or request you might have. I doubt I was an easy customer; I've had to change my customization and shipping address a few times, and I kept pushing for discounts, while requesting for replies ASAP. I have sent him over 50 emails, and he has answered every one of my questions. I would definitely recommend getting from them!

Unfortunately, I am not exactly pleased with GenTech's service.

I emailed them on the 24th to ask about the availability of a certain laptop. I was told that it is in stock and ready to ship. I placed the order the same day, within a few hours. Payment was made the following day (May 25th) over PayPal.
I had minimal customization, and was told that the laptop would ship this past week (May 28- Jun 1). I received no updates regarding my order until today, and only because I had to make a phone call. I was told that the shipment will come in next week, and I should receive it the week after. I ordered from them specifically because it was 'in stock and ready to ship'. So now, I *might* get it on June 11th-15th, but I'm not holding my breath.

I'm not saying they're horrible, a week delay isn't that bad (assuming it actually ships), but I am disappointed.

edit: The laptop did not ship this week (June 11-15), and they have no ETA for the next shipment. This is extremely disappointing. I *hope* to have the laptop by June 29th. Over a month after I originally ordered.

edit: Laptop just arrived today (June 14th).
