I just wrote this for somewhere else, so I just put it here too since John from Obsidian has been incredibly helpful configuring my laptop.

I wanted to leave my impression with the service of this shop. I ordered a p650RS with a 1070 about 2 months ago. First of all, I have to say that this shop has the cheapest price in the whole Europe, with similar stups and warranty (in some shops warranty like this one is not included in the price). With pick up and shipping warranty for Spain, it’s a great deal.

As for the laptop, it is by far the best laptop I’ve had. My setup is i7 6700HQ, 1070GTX, 256gb SSD, 1tb HDD and 16gb RAM. I’ve had a lot of laptops from different brands and this is by far the best unit I’ve had.

    PROS:

    - Insane performance. There´s nothing the 1070 can’t run. Moving Witcher 3 Ultra and hairworks max at 55-60 fps

    - With the SSD it goes super-fast on normal usage

    - Really solid and nice design, without that horrible gaming style other laptops have (it’s the best assembled laptop I’ve had)

    - Pretty cool for having a 1070 (after undervolting). Witcher 3 max details at about 75C in laptop is awesome

    - Quite silent even with max fan

    CONS:

    - Panel is IPS, which means more or less backlight bleeding. In my case it’s not the worst, but there’s quite a bit

    - You need to undervolt, otherwise temps can go pretty high during heavy having (Witcher 3 at 80-85C+)

    - Fan is almost always active

    - All the Clevo bugs that every other Clevo has, like the weird fan profiles, the 2nd screen bug, I weird drive bug I have with windows… all of which should be fixed by Clevo itself

As for the reseller service, it’s just perfect, 10/10. The laptop arrived after 3-4 days of starting assembly, which is great. Shipping and package great too, enough protection, everything installed and up to run…

Customer support is awesome too. I’ve sent them literally more than 50 emails asking a lot of stuff and they’ve answered all of them super-fast and fixing almost everything, even if some questions were because I didn’t read the manual. They’ve answered me professionally and nicely. They even offered to pick the unit up to check any (minor) problems without me asking for it. Not a single problem at this point.

Finally, they just remotely undervolted my unit so I couldn’t break it myself (quite possible).

I think I have the perfect laptop and I would recommend this reseller to anyone in Europe

For whoever might find this useful, I said I'd update my thread so I do. I sent my unit back to Obsidian in order to check some stuff and I have to say that the customer support is just insane. They're always available on the chat and they've helped me configure a lot of things, related or not with the laptop build (they even helped me set up OBS lol). I couldn't be more happy with them and I totally recommend them having this awesome service.

They changed my screen due to some dead pixels and put a new panel with virtually no bleeding, as well as repasting the unit
