I'm overall quite satisfied with my experience with Eurocom.
I had an almost week-long chat with their sales team, asking questions, getting quotes, and at one point one of their sales reps even called me to discuss various options.
I ended up placing my order around noon on Friday. On Monday evening, I got a shipping notice, and my laptop arrived Tuesday evening.
The laptop worked perfectly, and the only real gripe I have is that they ship an OS installation DVD...with a machine that doesn't have an optical drive. I've provided feedback on that. It also would be nice (as noted in another thread) if they clearly advertised that they use IC Diamond thermal paste. Gamers really look for this upgrade. I also think the price of their RAM upgrade is really high ($150 to get 16GB of RAM instead of 8GB). A stick of RAM can be had at retail for $80 (and I'm sure can be had for less if you buy in bulk). XoticPC charges $90 for an extra 8GB of RAM. I bet they would sell more RAM upgrades if their price was more reasonable.
But as for the entire experience, I really have no complaints. They also offer students a 10% discount, which really helps make this more affordable.
Based on this purchasing experience, I would recommend Eurocom.
