    - Timeline -
    April 9th

    Order Placed, 5:13pm
    Order was created for a base M5 Pro. From order completion, to student discount processing, to invoice payment, it took less than 20 minutes.​
    PayPal Payment Processed, 5:29pm​
    April 10th
    Status, 3:55pm
    Emailed to get the status of my build and was replied to in minutes. Currently being tested, on schedule to ship Monday. (See comment #1)
    I paid the 89$ CAD for Outside Quebec/Ontario UPS Express Shipping, as I'm in Halifax and impatient :)
    April 13th
    Status, 12:00pm
    Both a Eurocom Sales Representative and Supervisor contact me! The first email states the "stock levels are crazy" and if I would like, will be upgraded to the 3K Panasonic vvx16T029D00 screen.
    There don't seem to be too many others with the 3K option, so I'll be sure to leave my opinions on the screen.​

    April 14th
    In Transit, all day
    Wake up, check UPS. Go to work, check UPS every 10 minutes. Get home, check UPS every 10 minutes.​
    Delivery, 5:32pm
    The UPS shipping calculator had "guarantee" of 12 o'clock noon delivery, but was delivered the laptop at 5:32pm. Eurocom shipped the laptop quickly, so this on UPS's shoulders.​
    - Laptop & Packaging -
    Packaging: 9/10
    The laptop shipped double boxed: one box for the laptop, one box that served as the outer shell. Inside the laptop box was the laptop, manual, driver CD, PSU, HDD caddy screws, an oily blue tab thing, and packaging foam.
    The foam, while small in amount, held everything securely. The screen and keyboard films were thick and protective, and came off without leaving behind any residue.
    Two Questions:
    What is the oily blue tab thing?
    I appreciate that I was reached out to so Eurocom could include a CD packed with drivers for the OS I would be using...but the laptop has no Optical drive. Is this standard, or happened to be overlooked?​
    Laptop: 10/10
    No pictures of the P650SE do it justice. It is a stunningly beautiful laptop with visually appealing edges, cools the touch, and it is thin and relatively light.
    My major concern when looking at Clevo resellers was the company branding that would be on the laptop. Being a huge fan of the minimal and clear design I was originally looking for a reseller that offered a Branding Removal option, but decided to go with Eurocom for the amazing price offered.
    Fortunately I am met with a, surprisingly, clean logo that will not bother me.
    - tl;dr -
    Overall, the responsive communication, quick shipping, and gorgeous final product have made me a happy customer.
    I will definitely be purchasing from Eurocom again.

    - Other Comments -
    1.
    From other Eurocom reviews it seems that in order to obtain build status, the customer has to contact Eurocom themselves. This is true for my experience as well.
    2. A note for first time Eurocom buyers: If you choose to pay through PayPal, wait for the invoice to be sent to you before attempting to pay! I jumped the gun and was stopped by a PayPal error, which prompted a phone call to Eurocom...only to receive the email invoice as I was leaving a voicemail.
    3. I was given an upgrade post-order, but now have no record of that outside of email communication. If I were ever needing to send the laptop in for whatever reason, what would I use as proof of "stock" parts? Eurocom should send some form of "hard copy" to the customer for record keeping on both ends.

    Hello Tristan.
    The "oily blue tab" is the thermal pads for M2 SSD's.
    Also you should have received driver DVD's for both W7 and W8.
    If this is not the case, then I apologize, but all of the drivers are available on our website.

    Side Note:
    The latest Nvidia drivers are supposed to provide better performance in GTA V.

    I can't check if the single DVD has both W7 and W8 drivers, as I don't own a laptop with a CD drive.

    GTA V is running great :)

    What are the processes for a return and refund? Life hit me, pun intended, and now I have a bill to pay...

    I desperately hope there is a process for a refund!

    (The laptop is certainly fitting my needs and I have no issue with the laptop itself.)

    Since the systems are customized to each user there is a limited window to return them, its 10 days to be exact. I would contact Schwabe, that would be in your best interest.
