    Hi all

Quick review of my experience of Eurocom.

    System ordered
X8 workstation that I'll be using for gaming. $5.3k price tag... and starting to wish I'd just bought a desktop machine. I wanted a mobile gaming rig because I am from the UK living in New York. There are LAN parties in the UK that I'd like to go back and attend.
    Spec: 4930MX, 2 x 980Ms, 1TB mSATA SSD, 120Hz screen + loads of bits
I chose Eurocom because they offered a 120Hz screen. I wish I had seen the reviews here before pulling the trigger

    Ordering:
Website is good. I found the options fairly clear. They didn't have the X8 under their gaming systems, and I gave them advice to move it/paste it there also. It's now there. +1 for me?? :)

    Timeline:
Mon 6th. Emailed Mark - was told they could have it shipped for Thursday. I wanted it for the weekend. And for GTAV. Ordered for 1300ish EDT

Wed 8th - was told by production/John that the system would be delayed until the week after. Not happy but ok

Mon 13th - told John I could cope with a later this week delivery but asked for a clarification on status

Tues 14th - no response via email or phone. Beginning to really worry now :(

    Current status:
GTAV is out and I can try and play on my phone but doubt it'll run! I have also read some reviews here where people have waited over a month for their system...!!

Has anyone gone through a refund process with Eurocom and what are the steps? I can't even get anyone on the phone now

The Notebook Gods have shined upon us!

Huge thanks Eurocom! I know I was panicking and GTAV being out - and watching my pals play it - was awful. But I appreciate the effort you guys put in and also the little (actually pretty good) upgrades you gave me.

I have received the tracking number. Hopefully she'll be delivered tomorrow. I am so looking forward to stretching the legs of the CPU and 980Ms

    Update follow

Have to say - very happy bunny here

    GTAV is running very nice.

Laptop arrived Thursday and I used work's internet to download a whole load of games.

The cooling is great. I ramp all fans up as a I have a closed headset so no problem

One issue - I got a US keyboard lol but it's fine, as it'll work

    Thanks to all

    Fingers crossed no issues :)

Hi Tony, I'm seriously considering this laptop. I'm also interested in their 120Hz display.

    Here's what I'm considering

    120hz display
    i7-4810MQ
    980M SLI
    16GB RAM
    240GB SSD
    1TB HDD
    660W Ac adapter

How has your experience been with the laptop after you got it? Do you like the keyboard and USB layout? Any problems or issues I should be aware of before purchasing it? I'm also interested in Sager's NP9377 but they don't have the 120Hz display. Thanks!
