Apologies if this is the wrong forum to post this in. Mods can move it where it belongs.

I am a futures trader and high core-count + clock rate across all cores without throttling is extremely beneficial for the trading platform that I use which is able to specifically take advantage of multiple cores/threads.

As such, I have always used a desktop for my work but due to moving around the globe often, I've always wanted a desktop-replacement laptop.

With the incoming i9-9900k, this is the first time I am entertaining the feasibility of this idea. Can anyone from hidevolution comment on whether they have plans to add the 9900k to their evoc lineup in the future? If so, will hidevolution offer the silicon lottery options that they are offering for the 8086k right now for extra $$$? Money is no object and hidevolution is the only laptop reseller I have seen offering this option, which is amazing.

I expect it will be moved to the main forum as this section is for feedback, but if you tag a member or reseller they will then see the post and be able to answer your question for you.

If you want maximum core/thread count, have you considered the Asus GL702ZC, which has an 8-core AMD Ryzen CPU?

We still can't say exactly when, but it will be pretty soon.

If Silicon Lottery CPUs become available, and the temps are good, we will offer them too.

Patiently waiting! Almost purchased a laptop with the 8800k until I heard about the 9900k.
