I ordered my laptop on July 3rd from CyberPowerPC. The price was unbeatable - even by upgrading to the 256gb ADATA SP900 SSD, I could not find anywhere else a 17" laptop with the Maxwell version of the 860M in the same price range.

The ordering process was easy - my one complaint/suggestion to CyberPowerPC is that they do not offer the option to upgrade the thermal paste. This is something that I may do myself in the future but would have preferred to order it with an upgrade. The laptop arrived on Tuesday the 22nd, so there was a pretty long time between the purchase date and the arrival date. Other than that, the process was smooth. I forgot to get the dead pixel guarantee but fortunately the screen looks great. The box that the laptop was shipped in was absolutely massive - basically there was the laptop box, a ton of padding, and another big box - and the shipping was free!

Also, I ordered on July 3rd, which happened to be the one day that CyberPowerPC was giving away (after rebate) a free 22" HD LG monitor. I haven't opened it yet, but it is sealed in the original LG box. The specific model number seems to be available everywhere but somehow does not seem to have one review on the entire internet. I haven't opened it yet but plan to soon. I am slightly nervous because even though I ordered on July 3rd (I have proof of this), I got an invoice when the laptop shipped saying the 'purchase price' was somehow July 5th. I am hoping that I don't have any issues with the rebate since it was a 'July 3rd' only event.

In terms of the laptop itself, of course the star is the Maxwell 860M, which there are already enough threads about here that I will not go into it. Specific to the Sager/Clevo, the build quality seems solid. There are a few minor issues -

    1. My palms keep hitting the tracking pad. I had an HP DV7T for the past 4 years and never had this issue. Anyway, I am going to disable the tracking pad and mainly use my mouse, because I just don't like the feel of it (hard to really quantify, just a personal preference). Also missing having a button to enable/disable the tracking pad. Does anyone know if there is a shortcut for that?

    2. The shift keys are about half the size of my last laptop. This obviously isn't a huge deal but with muscle memory, I keep hitting the up arrow when I mean to hit the shift key.

Overall, I am extremely happy with the laptop so far. I am playing GuildWars2 with most settings maxed, and the laptop isn't breaking a sweat. Additionally, with the SSD + Windows 8, reboot time is like 4 seconds.
