I've been shopping around for a new laptop trying to decide what company to go with and as far as warranties are concerned, this is what I've come up with.
These are for standard Canadian warranties.

    Malibal
Labor: Lifetime Ltd. Labor (Couldn't find detail on what their "limited" detailed.)
    Parts: 1 Year Parts
    Shipping: 1 Year 2-Way Shipping
    Cost: Free

    Mythlogic
    Labor: 4 year Labor
    Parts: 1 Year Parts
    Shipping: 1 Year 2-Way Shipping
Cost: $75 (no free option for Canadians)

    Reflexnotebook
    Labor: 1 Year Limited Labor
    Parts: 1 Year Limited Parts
Shipping: None included. $30 add-on option for 1 year 2-way shipping.
    Cost: Free. $30 w/ 1 year shipping add-on

So for me it looks as if Malibal is heads and shoulders above the competitors in terms of warranty service offered for Canadians, or am I missing something? I was somewhat surprised because I expected Mythlogic to have the better warranty due to its "industry leading warranty" claim. Perhaps I'm overlooking something though.

    Hey

Just to clarify, our warranty is a Lifetime labor warranty, and the $75 is only for the shipping, if you don't want the two way shipping then the laptop is still covered =) Our warranty doesn't expire if you cross the border hehe.

Ah ok. I noticed on your "configurations" part of website the warranty said "lifetime labor warranty", but in the small print of your dedicated warranty page it defines "lifetime" as 4 years.. Which of course is reasonable considering the expected lifetime of a laptop.

Yea its lifetime, but the lawyers said we had to put a number on it, but we'll take care of the labor for as long as it keeps working or you want it fixed and we can fix it =)

Hi, yes we offer local warranty service in Canada, so you never have to ship your notebook back across the border and we pay shipping both ways. Also, "limited" refers to the fact that labor isn't covered for any and all service, only for service that is the result of failure under normal use. :)
