The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I was looking at XoticPC as they have been recommended to me by multiple users of other PC forums, but I was wondering if there was a better/cheaper option for Canadian citizens.

    I hope to pay ~$1100 in the end, and was looking at the NP5165 specifically :)

    Depending on where you are in Canada, we've had lots of Canadian customers who live in Ontario drive and pick theirs up from our Shop in Ann Arbor MI. Lets them skip the shipping etc. However, if you aren't in that area it was just a suggestion. There are a couple of great Canadian based guys here on the forums who I'm sure will pipe up soon here lol =)
