    Woah

I stumbled upon this thread by mistake.

I hope everything will be alright for both the OP and Mythologic.

Read this thread from the beginning.

This is rather irrelevant to this thread. Not sure what you are trying to say here ?
End of the day.. lack of service and proper communication cannot be exused byt the fact that- "ooh it's hard to sell laptops" so we are going to take ages to get back to you and process things.

communication is key, if a business lacks that they are thier own worst enemy.

Rather lie to people and keep business going as smoothly as possible as every company does then start a panic. Every company that has ever had a problem has done this or your brand can be squashed... Just read like anywhere.

I agree. However I am always honest no matter how hard the lump of guilt I have to swallow is, if something is wrong. More then once had to ask a customer to wait another week, either found something wrong with the laptop and needed another one or delays caused from any number of reasons.
I personally find adding truth and working with your customer, allows them to see it from your perspective and you guys can grow to like each other and stay in contact for the longer run, better customer retention you know. This might just work with me because I'm so much smaller then all these guys.

I am not at all saying what I refereed to was the right thing to do but so many companies do it and it is terrible... But do not act surprised when you see companies like these doing it. That is all I refereed to.

I had a recent and unfortunate experience with Mythlogic.

Let me start by saying that I have bought my last two laptops from them. I live in Michigan, about 40 minutes from Ann Arbor, and I really liked the idea of using a local company. My last two laptops were fantastic and Mythlogic were great to deal with.

That changed last month. I placed an order with them back in early September and after two weeks the status of the order was still "processing". I reached out to them through various emails asking for an update and no one got back to me. Zero response. I finally sent another email to every Myhtlogic email I could find asking to cancel my order. They eventually got back to me a day or so later saying they'd cancel it.

I ended up ordering a smiliar machine from XoticPc. They were super delightful to deal with and had I had the PC in hand a week after I placed the order.

I don't know what's happening with Mythlogic right now, but it's unfortunate, because they were very solid. But if someone is paying you a significant amount of money for a product, solid customer service, communication, and responsiveness is a bare minimum requirement.

hmmm so not only the OP, but others having issues recently too. Sounds like they are going through some change. I was a little skeptical at first that these guys were potentially treating customers this way, but seems more likely now. At the least you got your money back and seem happy with a laptop from XoticPC, congrats on that one !

Smells a lot like FrozenCPU debacle a while back. No communication and then just dropping off entirely.

Hopefully what ever is going on gets resolved so they can get back to business. Competition is a good thing for the consumer.

Oh well, it seems creating a thread here about the lack of response from Mythlogic is futile.

I ordered one of their laptops 2 years ago in 2015, yet the customer service experience is really friendly, it's so sad they has recently changed, perhaps sold the business to some other shady business group, thus produced outcomes like this.

Guess it's time to start building my desktop then...

The only problem is that the desktop won't be portable for me as a traveler, that was the original reason I purchased a laptop

    Sure why not?

I'm talking about boxes slightly larger than nucs though which can't be done in your proposed component choice.
