I placed an order for a Sky X6 (Clevo P770DM-G) on Monday November 9th.

On the following day I received a receipt and confirmation of order.

On Wednesday the 11th, I got a final invoice as well as tracking number for my shipment (it had just shipped).

I received it around noon on Thursday November 12th.

Smooth experience, relatively quick turnaround time from order time to delivery (72 hours total). They even gave me a small free upgrade on a component.

Strangely, they had not put their branding on the display lid like they usually do, though they did have it on the inside of the bezel, just beneath the screen. This is neither bad nor good as far as I'm concerned, just odd.

Only minor hiccup was that the RAM was placed beneath the keyboard rather than under the bottom panel like I'd asked. But honestly this is very easy to fix.

Overall another smooth experience dealing with Eurocom, and the machine itself is quite the (performance) beast.

My P750zm from Eurocom had both lid and bezel logos. I also asked for ram under the keyboard, but apparently when only two DIMMs are used, the service manual says they should be installed on the bottom and not under the keyboard. They just did as Clevo told them I guess.

I did the opposite - I'd asked for RAM on the bottom, not under the keyboard.

Ohh, odd--seems they prefer to just do the opposite of what the customer asks for then!

It's strange that how Eurocom can be pretty random on logos all over the place. My Eurocom M5 Pro (Clevo P650SG) doesn't have a logo on the lid, but on the bezel. One of my friend's Eurocom shark 4 (Clevo N150SD) has logos on both, but another friend of mine who also owns the shark 4, doesn't have any Eurocom logos at all.

My P650SG's RAM was installed on the bottom. Could this be model specific that it's recommended to install RAM on bottom or under the keyboard?

Both my Eurocom laptops have the logo on the bezel and the lid. Same with my friend who ordered a Eurocom. With that said, I don't mind Eurocom's logo, I quite like advertising Eurocom to the world because I'm very happy with them and very glad I went with them.

My past Eurocom laptops all had the logo on the lid, but not the bezel. Based on the comments here it seems the logo placement is random.

I personally don't mind the logo at all, I just find it strange it wasn't put on the lid, since I didn't specifically request them to remove it.

In my order I requested them to remove it. I hope it arrives without the logos and I don't get the same random logo placement it seems everyone else gets, lol.

If you put it in the order notes, I definitely suggest that you send them an email ([email protected]) as well to let them know how important it is for you to remove the logos.

Yeah, I did specify it to them in two emails (pre-sale inquiry and post-sale confirmation) as well as in the PayPal notes (which requires reference to the order number I think). I might double-check. I'll be using this laptop in an office environment and a crosshairs logo isn't exactly professional.

    EDIT:

And almost immediately, I got a response that the request was received and it will be sent with no logo. Awesome!

An NP9758. I was debating on that or a Thinkpad, to be honest. It was a hard decision but I decided the extra computing power would be more beneficial to me.

    NP9758 = Clevo P750DM-G aka Eurocom Sky X4 :)

Thanks. I wish nobody used those silly Sager models. The Clevo ones are very easy to remember and identify, but all the Sager stuff looks the same to me - Sager NPxxxxxxxx...

lol yeah the Clevo model numbers are the best and easiest to remember imo.

Eurocom model numbers are also easy to remember.

That's because they're both distinct. Eurocom Shark 4 is clearly not a Eurocom Sky X6.

A Clevo P870DM is obviously not the P650RG.

But the Sager NP9758 vs NP8658? Dunno.
