So I posted on here during my purchase process and decision making on what notebook to buy. During that time I promised I would come back and post about my first experiences with the system. I ended up getting a EURCOM M3. The reason why I got that system is that it is quite small and easy to carry around while having some serious CPU and GPU performance (i5-4200M, GTX 765M, 8 GB RAM) and I got a nice student discount and they are quite close to me to I went into their manufacturing facility to pick it up direct.
So .my thoughts.
Things I like.
I must say that when looking on line at this system it didnt look that good, quite ugly and simple design. But when I got it it looks way better in person. It has some angular lines and a nice textured lid and palm rest. Its obviously not as flashy as some gaming notebooks out there but I think it looks classy.
I love this system. I can carry it around easily in nearly any little bag and it has the power of a much larger laptop. 765M graphics is really enough for nearly anything.
Nice Full HD display on a 13.3 system is great. The pixel density is really high.
Battery life is alright. For a little system with 765M graphics I can usually get around 4 hours or so. Now that is a maximum, not something you can expect while gaming.
Upgradeability, when I first got it I opted for the low-end Core i5-4200M processor and 8 GB RAM. Soon when I notice a performance lag I plan on buying an i7 CPU and another RAM module to up my total to 16 GB. I also like how I can add another storage drive. I have a hard time deleting things I dont need any more so I will need more storage soon on top of my 1TB Hitachi.
Things I dont like.
It doesnt have as many ports as I would ideally have on my laptop but it has enough. For example, sometimes I need to connect more than 4 USB devices to the system so I am forced to disconnect something, but really 4 USB ports on a 13.3 system isnt so bad.
Lack of a full size keyboard. Sometimes I like to use the number pad when entering large amount of data into excel or something but again, kinda nit picking.
AC Adapter isnt small.
All in All
I quite like my little M3. Its like the size of a netbook with the performance of a bigup gaming tower. I have been recommending this baby to everyone I meet haha. My feelings have been ratified after reading the Future Shop and Best Buy reviews of the M3 that just came out as well. Feel free to read through these.

How long ago did you buy it? I'm hoping it was more like last year, cuz if it was this year I would've thought most people would opt for the w230ss instead
Also, 4 USB ports "isn't so bad" on a 13.3" system? Really? The only time you'll find more is on a desktop replacement laptop.. typically with 13.3" three USB ports is normal, having four with three of them being 3.0s is definitely really nice and I would say above average for a 13.3" notebook
