Hi there!
My Eurocom M5 Pro (P650SE) suddenly turned off (never to turn on again) and I have opened a support ticket with Eurocom. I'll be updating throughout the process so as to share with the community for future reference.
A semi detailed account of the problem (and steps taken to solve it) can be found here: http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/p650se-not-powering-up.791511/

Now that the overseas travel is done (for now, at least) and I have gotten the notebook, here's the update:
05/13/16: Eurocom Support provided RMA and shipping information. Due to testing, suspicion was cast on the motherboard and I was requested to ship only the notebook (without accessories)
06/23/16: Eurocom Support informed me that the notebook had made it to the bench but was found with cosmetic damage (without damage to the shipping box) and offered to repair the most important part of it (without labor cost). I asked if the damage could be totally repaired and the detailed invoice be sent to me (needed it in case responsible party requested it).
06/27/16: Eurocom Support sent an email letting me know that both plastics and motherboard had been replaced. Also told me that HDD could not be read (I wasn't aware of this since I had never actually used it; changed for SSD upon receiving)
06/30/16: Eurocom Support notified that all repairs were complete and requested shipping confirmation
07/04/16 - 07/09/16: Due to problems with PayPal, Eurocom Support redirected me to Eurocom Sales Team so as to solve the issue
07/11/16: Received PayPal invoice from Eurocom Sales Team, payed it and received shipping and tracking information from Eurocom
07/19/16: Notebook delivered. Everything working correctly.
Notebook was restored to 100% functionality and has continued to work flawlessly ever since I got it. They also included the original faulty drive. If I was pressured to find fault, I'd say the new case came with branding and original was unbranded. Hardly something terrible if you ask me!
To sum up, I would say that the service received from Eurocom has been professional-grade and generally smooth. Only hiccup was due to PayPal error which was promptly solved once the corresponding department got hold of it (I'm guessing departments are specialized in their activity, which seems logical). Would buy from them again and would recommend other to do so too!

- LCD back cover = $ 111
- LCD front cover = $ 68
- Bottom case = $ 128
- Top case = $ 146
- Labour = $ 150
A quote of 124 USD for the bottom case seems in line with this. Is that the only part you'd change?i_pk_pjers_i likes this. -
Clevo parts are quite hard to find even in China, I guess just not a lot of people buying them... But yeah there is always a way to find themArondel likes this. -

Yes, you are correct. Repair wasn't cheap and could be deemed not worthwhile for cosmetic damage alone. Even Eurocom only offered to repair the most compromised part (top case) to begin with. But the notebook has since been used by an associate so I only reviewed it so that I could post the update here (still have access to it if someone should ask something about it).
Good find on taobao.com! Seems you can save quite a bit by going through that channel. Let us know how it goes for you. Any reason you're stocking parts?i_pk_pjers_i likes this. -
I'm waiting for Clevo to release their 120Hz IPS FHD/QHD GSYNC panels, will buy a A+ panel on taobao ASAP lol.
btw I will be doing a live stream of unboxing and review when my X4E2 arrives next week, check my post for details. http://forum.notebookreview.com/threads/ordered-eurocom-sky-x4e2-p750dm2-g.796273Last edited: Sep 21, 2016i_pk_pjers_i and Arondel like this.
