    Hi there guys. I'm looking for someone whobis knowledgable for both these devices to give me their opinion on which to buy. I already checked the "which laptop to buy forum". I'm very split between these two devices. It seems like I can handle the lack of storage on the razer with an external harddrive.

    to me it seems very simple:

    - you either want a slightly better performing and versatile but flimsy and very cheap built quality laptop that after a couple of months will look like it's 2 years old;
    - or a extremely well built and study laptop, but a bit under-performing and less versatile as a trade-of (and more expensive).

    So the GS70 is cheaper built huh. My only issue is the storage space. Do you use an extermal drive? 256 gb will fit my pictures movie and music and be filled to the brim.

    i've got the 512 version. Keep in mind there is another empty slot for one more ssd you might consider using.

    I do have an external hdd, but will soon get my Lima and just use that. So no more storage problems after that.

    Haha, that's a very interesting device, Well, i thought the razer was not customizable, are you saying i'd be able to open it myself and place an ssd in there?

    well yeah...there are a few threads here about people putting new ssds in their blades. however I think it will void the warranty, although, if you take a look at those threads, they say that there isn't any seal or anything that will result in warranty void.

    Hell yeah, I doubt they even give a . Sounds like a very good idea, I may just go for the 256 model in the case then get a samsung ssd or something. I'd need to find a good one with 512 on there.
