    HI

Can someone help me to find a ribbon cable that link the screen to the motherboard of the razer blade 2013?
Razer support is telling me that they can t provide one and that the cable is specific to the blade.

are they any way to find a compatible one?

I will really appreciate any link to one that I can buy. can t figure with one is the good one...

    many thanks

    Up!!!

would really appreciate if someone have any idea about a ribbon cable.
Razer will not help at all, I would need to pay 100$ to send it plus 100$ for diagnoses plus the replacement part for a simple ribbon cable!

I have a blade 14 2013 that I can t use except if connected to an external monitor, I feel really bad.

    any help please?

Razer doesn't sell parts and unfortunately it's pretty hard to come by. Most people with Razers don't open them, then there's people like me who do and get ridiculed =/

I wouldn't take that too seriously. As far as I can tell, the people talking s**t about your experiments have not been the sharpest crayons in the box. Your behavior has been classy and honest, and entirely in support of the best, most accurate explanations possible with the information available. Even the Razer CEO, though I found his original post a bit self-serving, eventually called his minions to heel.

Keep up the good work. Some of us are listening, even though we don't always speak up.

And to get back on topic, we need contributions from folks like you, exactly because of Razer's poor behavior on issues like spare parts availability. I really can't fathom how it could hurt them to sell a ribbon cable to a customer that wants to service their own personal machine. Especially since it's out of its warranty period. Ridiculous and not a good way to treat (or keep) customers.

I don't see the harm in it either, though it could be that Razer is just not set up to sell individual parts to end users. They probably have a small amount of parts available at their "service center" (the system recovery USB flash drive is the only exception I'm aware of they will ship you), but no easy way to charge someone for it and box it up to ship it to an individual user. They give away the flash drive for free if you provide your system info.
