    Hey there gang!

I'm on my 3rd 2014 Razer Blade Pro after RMA's, each one with seemingly the same problem. Please watch this YouTube video I put together to see if you have had, are having, or don't have this problem with your SBUI touchpad.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATrgLF2Gpbs&feature=youtu.be

On my final machine, Razer's support team has said that this problem is inevitable to all RBP's. I need to know if other people are experiencing this same problem, or if you are not! This will determine my next actions moving forward.

Thanks for keeping this forum bumping!

I am not experiencing any of the switchblade problems or any problems that anyone have had with there razer blade pro 2014 mine runs 100% perfect not a single issue what so ever. Maybe I got lucky and got the one good one but as far as iv tryed mine runs perfect everywhere on the track pad works no disappearing icons no blue screen no black screen runs perfect zero problems that leads me to bealieve that you've gotten bad ones or I got lucky

Thanks for the response Colto. So you don't have a dead space on the bottom left corner of your trackpad? It seems in this forum there have been a varied number of responses from similar posts such as mine. I made the video as a way to fully illustrate the issue so people can know what's going on.

Needless to say, after my third RMA, Razer support has now said that the trackpad is functioning as normal and that this is expected...

Yeah, I experienced the same bricking problem that others experienced as well with the latest Synapse update. Good thing it was a quick fix with uninstalling and then re-installing. But still... I can't help but think back to my last computer... My 5 year old MacBook Pro... What's a driver? (kidding of course, but i really liked not having to constantly take a wrench to the operating system or hardware, definitely got my money out of that machine.

That's good to know that you don't have any problems with your RB Pro, perhaps there is a fully functioning trackpad out there...

I had the same issue you did with the erratic/unresponsive bottom left corner of the trackpad, I went through two RMAs, and the third unit still had the same issue. I decided at that point that it was no longer worth my time to try to fix the issue. If it bothers me enough prior to the warranty ending, I may ship it to Razer to see if their engineers haven't found a fix for it, but I'd advise you to decide if the laptop is worth keeping assuming the issue persists forever. If not, return it, but otherwise stop worrying about it, it's not worth it.

Yeah, I agree. I think I will be returning it in the end. Just unfortunate because I am so impressed with everything else with the machine. But at that price point, I really have a low tolerance for issues like that. Especially with the main source of input for a laptop such as the touchpad.

Needless to say, I've been impressed watching Razer's leaps and gains since its first machine in 2012 and will continue to keep my eyes on them. We need more OEM's pushing the build quality envelope for Windows machines like them.

Could you please explain exactly what I should do to fix this problem? It is driving me crazy.
