Would you advice against paying $1500 for 2019 Razer with 1650?

Laptop would be used for browsing with tons of tabs. Playing CS:GO ( should be no problem with the 1650 MaxQ ) Media consumption. Audio and video conferencing!

Wants an all in one laptop solution. One laptop to rule them all. Portability and light gaming. Battery life 5+ hours is more than enough. I have long fingers so the shift key shouldn't be a problem. How is the typying experience otherwise? Cant find another one this size that I can take to work and playing older games at night.

I actually use my late 2019 Stealth with 1650 on my external 1440p display most of the time and I can do anything with it.. 16gb memory is plenty for all of that.. I get about 7~ hours of office/browsing/remoting for work off the charger. Right Shift key is annoying but I got used to it. Gaming wise, it surprisingly plays most titles at 60 fps but i'm not playing anything most recent.. Doom 2016 for example will play at 60fps at 1080p everything maxxed out no problem.. 1440p, its 45-60fps maxed out on my external monitor. For how small this machine is - it's very powerful. With the BIOS mod, it's faster than a 7700hq laptop all day long. I also liquid metal'd mine which shaved off about 12c. Although my unit doesn't seem to like much, if any of an undervolt.. Sometimes it's okay at -50mv but some games will throw a WHEA error and blue screen even at -50. I think it has to do with the 3733mhz memory which seems to be very sensitive to undervolting.

    I paid $1700 for a 2019 with a 2070 and a 3 year accidental geek squad plan...definitely can find better deals.

This is such a bloody good endorsement. Thanks for taking the time. What's the BIOS mod you were referring to? 12c difference with liquid metal sounds huge! Did you have ever have to call Razer for anything? Should I buy RazerCare or no?

I bought mine from Bestbuy so no Razer care and zero issues. BIOS mod is right here in the Razer forum "Take full control of your razer" or something like that :)

I bought €1500, €500 off from mrsp on last Black Friday. Never regret it all, replaced directly and sold 2 months old MBP13 2019 for its portability and performance. There will be an update for keyboard, screen and 120Hz display (which’s good for your CSGo) apparently acccording leak on Reddit today, but it’ll cost maybe €2k and take some time till it’s out and price drops as well.
