    Unable to Run Razer Recovery

    When attempting to run Razer Recovery from a USB drive I get "Only support running under WinPE."

    I followed the recovery instructions given by Razer Support and downloaded and extracted the recovery files to a USB (128GB).

    This is on a new, 2 TB Sabrent SSD on the new 11-th gen Stealth, so I know this drive is supported.

    How do I run the recovery?

    My only guess at the moment is if that version of WinPE works with USB 3. I’ve ran into that issue on a few bootable USB devices. I would try on a USB 2 drive if you have one available. Maybe someone else can chime in with another suggestion?

    Not sure about that win PE issue, but if you can’t boot from USB for doing clean windows install, there’s other ways like cloning the original ssd. For new ssd upgrade I usually clean install but recently for upgrading to save hassle things I cloned it. I use free software easeUs and like 30 bucks nvme adapter from Amazon, was like 30 minutes works including swapping ssd.

    Not sure why a PCIe 4.0 2TB SSD wouldn't work with an 11th gen Stealth? When I run the install files on several different USB drives I get the WinPE error. How do I make this USB drive bootable, even though it's recognized as a bootable device (via pressing F12), with the folder Razer Support gave me?

    Try clone the original ssd like using easyus free software to avoid that boot process. You need though a nvme adapter. I didn’t fresh install my stealth when upgrading it to crucial 2Tb recently and avoided hassle things like that and copying all my files, drivers etc. Though it’s different pcie (however mine is 10gen cpu) but maybe worth a try, costed me 30 bucks for adapter and 30 minutes work including installation hardware and software.
