Yep, installed Mojave 10.14 that is almost perfectly fully working, just have to iron out battery meter accuracy and internal wifi (has to be replaced, 1535 has no support)

The RBP does a better job of being a macbook pro than the macbook pro does!

Hows imessage and facetime support going? Also I wonder how fcx rendering times would compare with a actual macbook.

iMessage works 100%, sent some messages to my girlfriend without issue. Haven’t tried FaceTime yet, but I have no reason to doubt it would work. I’ve already tested internal mic and webcam, both work

could you help me do this to my Razer Blade 15? I really want to do it :) and it would help me get rid of my Macbook Pro 2016 lol

Hackintosh is a very complex process to get right, and it’s not a cross machine thing either. My setup will only work for the FHD Razer Blade Pro 2017

I got it to work on my desktop. Everything works except IMessage. Each time I sign on it says failed to sign on. Safari , emails all work. Anyone know why this is happening

This is not through VMware....this is a native installation, very different. iMessage works for me because I've made it look like it's installed on a real mac and can communicate with "real" mac hardware. It's a complex thing but when it works, it's damned sure better than a mac.

I can only do that if you have the 2017 razer blade pro fhd 7700hq/gtx1060 config, since making a hackintosh is a per-machine process that requires lots of fine tuning. General steps would be:
    1. Downlaod the olarila image of macos mojava, they have it set up with the proper bootloader, configuration, patches, and kexts to make it boot on almost any system. (use config2.plist). If you plan to install to NVMe ssd, you should be good to go. If you plan to install to AHCI device (as in the razer blade pro FHD model), you will need unsupported 100 series ahci kext to make it see your hdd/ssd. You will need a USB mouse to proceed through the installer

    2. After installing, boot into mac os and dump your DSDT. You will have to patch with maciasl or ask somebody else to do it for you. Do it yourself, take a lot of time, but worth it, most people don't care to help out. Patching DSDT will enable native power management, fix your touchpad, etc

    3. Make a SSDT with ssdtprgn.sh to enable power management

    4. install voodoohda to enable sound

I have the application to control lighting from os x, just need your razer blade's device id for the light controller (sits on a USB bus)

it is a very involved process to get things 100%, even I am not there yet.

https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/razer-blade-15-high-sierra-10-13-6-success.256954/ I believe it is possible but I just haven't done it yet because of two things.

    A) Kinda lazy to sell my Macbook, the touchpad on the Macbook is still pretty darn good and I trust the sleep mode on Mac Over Razer and according to the thread sleep still doesn't work right
    B) I would have to upgrade my Razer Blade to at least a 1TB from 512 to leave ample space for all of this. I think I'm just going to keep my Macbook lol...

Wow this sounds intense compared to VM. I have the VM working. Everything seems to work except messaging.

It is a process, and even after I got the touchpad working, I haven't been able to copy the gestures from the real macbook pro, only point/click and two finger scroll.

Do you have WLAN? Or does it still require a non-intel card to work? @Raidriar

no wlan, intel cards have never had OS X support, atheros cards used to be supported until they were acquired by qualcomm, who has bitter disputes with apple, no longer have any new cards (QCA, not AR) working in OS X. and the killer 1535 is a qcnfa364a rebadge. Only select broadcom cards work, going to be adding the DW 1830 3x3 broadcom card from the xps 15 to my blade eventually, should give native functional wifi as I've checked the kernal extensions, device id exists natively.

    Hi!
I have the same machine as you with similar setup. Was wondering if you would share your DSDT and SSDT files? I am working on trying to get power management to work (i.e., battery). If the trackpad works or not is not really that important.
Also downloading now the Olarila files you mentioned. I am putting together a tutorial on Reddit for all RBP users to save them some time. I started with a vanilla install and would say I am about 90% there.
I can no longer support Apple's offerings since 2014 and am hoping my two MacBook Pro's will last me some more years. Thus the Hackintosh effort with the RBP.
    Thanks for help!
