Alright so I'm in the market for a new laptop, and the Razer Blade really caught my attention. I've been limited on my gaming due to not having the proper computer.

While I would love to buy the newest latest Razer Blade laptop I simply cannot afford it, due to being in college. However, I did find someone selling a Razer Blade 14 with the 14" QHD Touch Intel i7 the 8GB of ram and the 512GB SSD with the nVidia GeForce 870M. He wants $800 for it, I was wondering if this is a good deal. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks.

$800 is a fantastic deal for that laptop. Especially one that has been upgraded to a 512GB SSD.

$800 is about the right ballpark price for the price-to-performance ratio of a laptop with that kind of gaming power. However, with a Razer blade, you get the added benefit of the 14" form factor, and the aluminum body construction. I'd jump on that deal ASAP.

800 for the 2014 model isn't bad for the form factor

Well, I am now the proud owner of a Razer Blade 14!!!!!! I just reset the whole computer and erased all previous files. Is there anything else I should do or settings I should change to get the most out of this thing?

I sold my 2015 QHD for $1200... Don't think the two-year old model is great for that price...

It was about the eBay trending price at the time so the price the op got is awesome! I wish I could have found a 2015 for that! LOL
