I'm curious to see how many of our board razer blade owners would be interested in a razer blade tuning service, to be offered/performed by me which would include liquid metal repasting on the GPU/CPU, BIOS unlock, and stable undervolt values applied at the BIOS level. Would people be interested in something like this?

I think the main issue is simply that the BIOS chip gets burned because of its terrible position. If you could offer a service that includes putting the BIOS chip somewhere else with wires and some isolation, u'd be saving tons of razer notebooks from dying. Also replacement of cheap mosfets, stopping the notebook from burning as well.

Is the bios moddable on the Blade 2018?

I believe the Blade 14's issue is that the bios chips is connected to the aluminum brace/heatspreader with a thermal pad. You can remove the thermal pad to break the heat connection but it's still sitting underneath a hot surface with almost no air circulation. I'm not sure how this is handled with the Blade 2018.

Exacly the issue. Also the mosfets tend to burn since they are extremely cheap. Henry gave up on repairing the razor blades because it started to get ridicolous.
