For some reason the trackpad app (the one synapse uses to map custom buttons) refuses to register button presses. I've read a lot about the issue with icons not appearing (which I also have), but the buttons are also not doing anything when pressed.

I have contacted Razer Support multiple times, but every time they eventually claim to elevate my issue and toss me an email to wait for the next synapse update.

When on the phone with Razer Support they told me to use their test synapse account. This did work for a couple days, but even on the test account the problem came back.

All other switchblade apps work fine...

Anyone else have this issue or an idea to fix it?

*before you suggest it... I have uninstalled and reinstalled synapse multiple times.

I am having the same issue. I have a 2014 blade pro. Just updated synapse 2 days ago and:
    - track pad not registering touch
    -button press not working
    -SBUI Apps not working

    I have tried:
    -resetting all apps
    -restart the blade pro
-logging out and in of synapse 2.0

I believe this is a firmware glitch that can/will be fixed if we can somehow let razer know what the hell is going on.

Did this happen right after you updated synapse Derp? I reported a similar problem in the owners thread. Had to dig out an external mouse, completely uninstall synapse, restart, delete all registry keys for synapse, and then redownload it, restart, and finally reinstall... because my touchpad stopped working. What a pita.

Hey Burning Derp, thanks for your early YouTube reviews of the 2014 Blade Pro. Those helped me make up my mind when deciding to purchase the Pro.

But I have a question for you. I'm on my third replacement Blade Pro, and starting to lose faith. Each machine I've had has had a 1 X 1 inch space on the track pad in the lower left hand corner that registers clicks and movement eradically, or not at all. It's a drastically different experience compared to the three other corners of the trackpad.

Speaking with their service team, they say this is not supposed to be taking place. But now that this is my third machine, still with the same results, I'm beginning to think that this defect is perhaps a standard.

Do you have this going on with your track pad?

This is a $3000 machine, that leverages it's premium price greatly on its trackpad features, and thus, I personally feel like this particular hardware and software should be flawless.

same issues here too. Also razer discontinued my warranty early... I have had screws fall out of my laptop... Have had stuck key issues...Mouse issues... Etc. Stuck keys still occur, screws have to be tightened and two had to be replaced (thus voiding whatever warranty i had left) even though i never opened the system. Stuck keys cause a letter or key or even key combination to repeat indefinitely.... so typing razer will look like razerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... And yes they replaced it and the replacement does the same exact thing. its quite embarrassing as is its horrible performance as of late.
