    Good afternoon all,

I have rather a different issue to most here and was wondering if you could give me a hand?

I recently received a razer blade 14 inch 1060 late 2016. Fantastic laptop but I did a clean windows 10 install nonetheless.

Since then I have noticed fan issues. Was pulling my hair out in despair because it seemed, no matter how intense the cpu task the fans were not increasing in speed and the temperatures were getting around the 90c mark on unigine heaven benchmark.

After ANOTHER fresh install and reinstall of all drivers I noticed that if I went into synapse and changed the profile settings ( I.e deleted one ) the fans would then increase in speed to correspond with CPU usage.

It seems very inconsistent though and sometimes after deleting or changing a profile the fans will increase but not in line with CPU usage ( i.e. On the unigine heaven test for instance ) and then on other occasions they will work properly and increase or decrease in speed accordingly.

It seems to be a software issue and I am trying to persist befor RMA'ing the laptop. Anyone experience this before or have any ideas?

    Would be very grateful!

Wasn't this a broken BIOS? I thought the latest one was supposed to address it.

How about you tell us your BIOS Version?
Maybe makes sense to start tracking those to see if Razer actualy does something.
