    Hey all,

I literally just got my 2014 RB, but the laptop does not seem to charge no matter what I do or where I plug it in, out of the box the battery has run down to zero % whilst plugged in to power (the power brick has a green lit LED when the laptop is off and the brick is plugged into power). However when the laptop is turned on the power brick light will turn off after a little bit and the status indicator on the laptop goes red, Windows does not indicate that the laptop is charging. As such the laptop will stay on for about 2-5 minutes before turning off.

This is extremely frustrating and I'm not sure if I have a defective powerbrick or battery.

Any help on this would appreciated, Has anyone else experienced problems with charging the new RB?

No and it's unfortunate that you have these problems right out of the box, it does seem it has a defective power brick.
Do you have different power brick to try?

Cheers for the prompt reply, I actually had sent customer service an email just prior to posting this thread so once I get a response on that I'll link them to the thread.
