Just got hand on Razer book 13, actually don’t want it but since I can get 1165 version under Razer 1135g7 premium overpriced price I just took it, and always wanted mercury blade since they even don’t care about EU.
    Here’s some pros and contra.
    1. Build quality is decent as expected, less finger prints than black blade laptops.
    2. Decent battery life, and performance isn’t throttle huge like gaming laptops, I’ll explain this later.
3.16:10 ratio is bad for gaming, hell no, more views are better not only on excel or browsing.

    4. Decent cooling with vapor chamber is a gimmick on ultrabook? Well if I push it to the top neck I can see 100 degrees but it almost achieves 6 cores 8750H 45 watt performance on blade 15 with only 4 cores.
    5. No AMD no buy, LoL. For Egpu enthusiasts AMD Egpu can be found only on Asus flow 13 With current 3070 Egpu it can crash most AMD 3000 series gpu performance at least on synthetic benchmarks, on games it may be varying depends the titles. But yes 3080 variant flow x performs better but on 1080p, since I play at least on 1440p on external monitor. Wait, it’s 3070 €520 gpu vs 3080 €1,5K Asus Egpu that can’t be used on other system.
    6. No m1 no buy, also LoL. M1 is great chips with super efficient performance, but they’re limited by software especially for gamers like me, I can’t play SoTR and Witcher I already finished it last ages, sometimes I use it only for benchmarking. No Egpu support is also a big no for some one like me. Battery like isn’t as good as m1 and I always envy until having the book 13, with stealth and optimus bugs I’ve always to bring ac adapter but in this week owning it I don’t see I need it. It give on worst scenario 7 hours but sometimes even 9 to 11 hours thanks to super optimized windows and synapse update (LoL).

Here some comparison videos where I took reverence.

    here my results

m1 can only catch on SoTR, but maybe it’s due Rosetta however on synthetic it’s quite huge difference...it’s also maybe due their software translation, well who cares results are result :p

My result with lower frequency 1165g7, as a bonus I’ll give it with battery performance :D.

PS: Sorry for bad shoots did this on mobile.
For most popular 3DMark numbers here’s
For now 1 rank on Firestrike from its class.
    With one plug core 3070

Ah forgot cons :D There’re no if you can get 1165g7 under 1135g7 €1200 ;). If I’ve to mention maybe bad factory screw bolting job, bottom lid was not properly closed, but I did however swap the ssd, it was easy fix. As for mentioned issues from other users, I saw a user reported pealed display cable under the screen, not sure it looks fine to me. Keyboard isn’t accurate on typing, I don’t have it, maybe because I’m one finger turtle slow typer (joke). Ah forgot to mention as step son region EU unit unlike US, at least on mine it doesn’t have secondary keys backlit, maybe for some it’ll be a trade off.

Hope that help someone who’s looking an ultrabook with fancy per keys RGB :D

Edit 2: there’re some titles that hates Intel Xe mostly on dx12, means like on cpu racing they’re pretty lazy updating things. Back in 2020 cyberpunk can’t be run due this, they update it early 2021 to solve this and with update 1.2 it runs like a champ on 50% resolution 30fps :biglaugh:. Other titles are watchdogs legion dx12, smooth 30fps but black and red color on main gameplay lmao, dx11 bring normal screen but super laggy. Horizon zero dawn was fine on first test but now crash after loading screen one time passed it but same with watchdogs legion black and red scenes only worse, considering those titles are dx12 issue, hopefully they don’t lazy anymore since low specs gamers maybe moving on to amd apu.
Hopes that help for someone who facing the issue or considering buying ultrabook with intel Xe for gaming. However those issues don’t exist on Egpu setting.

After owning blade 14 around a month rechecking gaming performance on book 13, my place was taken by a handheld device recently :elvis:, thinking to dive the bios to catch it until I saw this review, thanks to YouTube algorithm telling me this review, none his test unit dellbooks integrated gpu hits 5000ish FS anyway made be a bit happy.

Yeah record meant to be broken but by pc that has size of a switch, can’t really accept it, didn’t tweak this and that on this since it performs well but seems i need it now
