There's no option in the synaptics driver that's installed to disable inverse scrolling (similar to scrolling on your phone/tablet). Annoying as hell. How do you turn it off. Also referred to as natural scrolling. I tried installing the latest Synaptics drivers from their site but it fails install.

There's a Control Panel called "Mouse". The last tab should be Synaptics' one and say something like "Device Settings". In there you press a button that says: "Settings" and a windows will pop-up with different properties for the Synaptics touchpad. There's a scrolling section there, where you can reverse the direction of the scroll; works for me 100% all the time.

I know what you are referring to but that is missing from Synaptics. I have it in my other machines but not this one.

The version of this software doesn't even have an option to disable the trackpad when a mouse is connected...What the heck. I wish there was a new synaptics driver that would install properly.

Uninstalled Synaptics, Uninstalled Synapse. Reinstalled Synapse which reinstalled Synaptics and added the option back in.
