I bought a Razer Blade 2014 in September from an Amazon re-seller in the UK, and it stopped working within a few weeks, the battery would not charge at all, and would work while plugged in to the mains as soon as you unplugged from the mains it would die instantly.

I contacted the reseller, and they were no help at all, Amazon washed their hands of it, Amazon are crap, when it is with re-sellers, I`m very happy with Amazon support when it is not via their re-seller program.

In the end I contacted Razer, and they informed me I had a grey import as they don`t sell that laptop in the EU and should not be supported, well I kind of knew that :) but they went on to say that they will honor the warranty if i shipped to their German office, all went smoothly, I shipped to Germany, they shipped it internally from Germany to USA, and back from USA to UK, customs....where it sat....for TWO WEEKS...going back and forth with paperwork it appears that Razer didn't ship it out of the EU with the correct paperwork to be able to prove it was the same Laptop coming back after repair. Meaning customs were demanding hundreds of pounds of import duty, Fedex were great, but at this point I was a little disappointed with Razer, they are in US, and Fedex customs guys were in UK, and at no point were their office hours overlapping, and they seemed reluctant to call Fedex to sort it out...in the end I tracked an office number for germany, then gave this number to the Fedex guys to liaise directly to the guy that shipped from Germany to USA, I still had to pay administration fees for the work that fedex put in filling in the paperwork that was missing, but it may be easier to ship to the USA youself and make sure you file it correctly when you send it to avoid customs issues.

What ended up being the problem? I just recently ran into a battery charging issue on my 2014 model Blade and I am currently going back and forth with Razer support.

Sounds like an big effort to resolve the issue, glad it's been sorted nevertheless. Think what I've read from various people now though regarding Razer CS has put me off importing one of the 2015 models, Aorus X3 V3 it is!
