Have been very happy with my RB14 so far however I have noticed that the right side fan is louder than the left side fan. The left is generally completey silent when held up to my ears. The right fan has a very slight but noticeable sound which I can only describe as a "brushing" noise. Almost like the fan is just barely brushing against the housing. It is only just noticeable when the laptop is in a normal position on a table. When the laptop is held at >45 degree angle or for instance upside down when running, the noise becomes louder. CPU/GPU temps are not out of the ordinary.

I doubt I would return it for the noise but just wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing this. I would rather not have to ship it back. I would prefer if the fan was available as a spare part from Razer so that I would know that I could swap it out at a later date (even when out of warranty, I would rather pay out of pocket for the fan than ship it back) rather than worry about getting it serviced before it goes out of warranty in a years time. However it does not seem that Razer is interested in selling components unlike the numerous fan replacements that are available for macbooks (which I assume the fans are of a similar size/form factor).

If whatever you are doing is not stressing the GPU, then only the CPU fan will run. Try running Furmark or similar.
