My RAZER BLADE 14 2014 TOUCH SCREEN boots to black screen . At the start the screen was flickering with different lines (red/blue/white) but when I connect to the external display via HDMI to the LED TV it works perfect. After running games through the NVIDIA GRAPHICS after an hour the screen comes back to normal on the laptop but if stop playing the games the screen goes black again. While booting I cannot access the BIOS on the external and takes me directly to the login screen. If I bend the screen of the laptop it just remains blank and no lines can be seen. As of now the laptop screen is just blank and no flickering lines on the screen as it used to be in the beginning. I also uninstalled the intel graphics drivers and also the nvidia graphics drivers but same problem. i cannot restore to its factory setting as i cannot acces the bios. I cannot also avail the warranty as I have already opened the laptop with the help of a technician which has already voided the warranty. I am based in kuwait and the razer service centers are in U.S & Singapore. Appreciate if anyone can shed some led to the problems my laptop is facing. Please help required........Thanks......

Sounds like one of a couple things. All of which will most likely need to be sent back to Razer.

    1) Ribbon cable frayed and damaged
    2) BGA solder joints cracking on the CPU causing the iGPU to not work properly (which explains why you can't access the BIOS or any normal functions)

There are no warranty void stickers on the unit so as far as I'm concerned opening it doesn't void any warranty.

Well thanks a lot for the quick reply...regarding the warranty being void I did open the whole laptop and dismantled every party from the battery, mother board and heatsink except the screen to check if there was any loose connection and assembled it back but it's the same problem ..if I send it to Razer they will know the laptop has been opened thought the black screws turned little silver ... I have another pic above while playing a game on the external display ...

The only time I've seen lines like that is a bad ribbon cable but that makes absolutely no sense why it would work if it's been running games for awhile. I have no idea to be honest.

Other people have had displays with a color tint (i.e. yellow) or blank like yours that was caused by a bad cable, but the only time I've seen a bank of columns look like your second picture is when there is a crack in the glass, or scratch on the traces on the glass between the driver chip and the active area of the display. Lets hope that is not the case.

Well there is no crack at all I took of the led display from the laptop keyboard area but could not open up the led panel... Only what came to my notice was when I removed the led display there were 4 cable,s connected to it.
    1. Led display power cable to the left
    2. Razer logo light cable to the right
    3. Wireless cable to the right
    4. Power adapter cable to the right .

Under the led display strip on the left I saw some wires opened up ...maybe it's a bad cable ...how do I open it up to check it it's really faulty ,.....?

I would attempt to source a new ribbon cable. Sounds like it's bad. Shouldn't be more than $40 USD

I unfortunately have no idea where to source any Razer parts. Niche market =/ hopefully someone can chime in here.

You'll have to get it from Razer and they will expect you to ship your laptop in for them to repair.

you can try eBay, look for used razer blades that are sold for parts, I saw one a couple of weeks ago ......
