Who is NextBit? they are an SF startup making a smartphone called "Robin" that has automatic cloud storage, so you never run out of space.

This happened about two months ago but Razer made an announcement today. Razer has been wanting to do a phone for years now, but it is a tough business to get in to. My understanding is that NextBit was basically out of business with $1M of debt owed to Foxconn, and they agreed to be acquired by Razer so they could continue.

Expect to see a black phone with green LEDs in the near future.

...and runs hot, is super thin, priced way higher than comparable ones and a 4k display :D.

    I kid, I kid.

What's funny is that NextBit's phone, the Robin, is already thin and runs hot. So they're half way there ...

Phones makers should stop between at 1440p. I've seen the 4K vs 1440p phones right next to each other. The 1440p is already ridiculously clear, I can't really see the difference at all. 1440p was better than 1080p though. OLED 1440p is the way to go.
