I'm not a fan of the giant glowing Razer logo on the outside of the Blade. Does anyone know if it's easy to disable the light for it? Is there an option in the BIOS or something?

that light probably comes from the screen itself

If you REALLY hate it, and are tech savvy, careful, and experienced, you can remove the screen and apply a thin piece of black electrical tape to the rear side of the logo. But that seems like overkill.

When it comes to the edge-to-edge glass on touchscreens, I think they are more difficult to remove and replace than traditional LCD's with bezels. It may not be the case here but I've usually seen them held in with adhesives instead of plastic tabs.

There's no option on the 2013 14" Blade to disable the logo lighting. There's no option on the 2012 Blade R2 to disable the power button glow.

The lid logos that light up on notebooks are translucent plastic that lets light from the panel backlight through.

You will never find a way to disable the logo on the lid in software unless there is a mechanical shutter. Which will never happen. I can't see a notebook manufacturer not taking an opportunity to advertise.

Before I got the razer blade pro, I thought the glowing logo would bother me but it's not a steady flicker in and out. It's more of a slow fading and back forth. I think it's actually a neat design element. Also looks amazing with how big the logo button is. I love the back logo. the black and neon green pops.

I don't think the green logo is lit by the screen backlight. Two things make me believe this. 1) When you turn the brightness up and down it has no effect on the logo brightness and 2) When the screen is completely off (I'm not talking black color, I'm talking the screen actually off) the logo is still it.

If it was truly linked with the backlight I don't think either of those things could be true.

With that said, I would think it could be feasible to turn it off through some hidden bios function or just disconnect the lighting for the logo. If it really bothered me I would just put on a laptop skin to cover the whole screen.

Currently I have a skin made for the razer that has a cutout for the logo on the lid so you can see it.

I am looking for a solution to this as well, and I agree with dajohu: It's unlikely that the logo is illuminated via the backlight of the screen, for the same reasons that he mentioned. They appear to operate independently of one another.

Yep. Appears to be true.. Good catch. Odd they didn't have a way to do that if so. I'm sure they want you to have it light up so you can market for them though! :)
