My company has purchased the brand new Razer Blade Pro 2017.

Unfortunately, we are unable to find the drivers for this product on the Razer website, where this product does NOT have any drivers.

The drivers are NOT identical to the previous generation Razer Blade Pro 2016, which does have its drivers available.

Does anyone know where we may find the drivers for the Razer Blade Pro 2017?

This is the 17" "Desktop in a Laptop" product.

They usually take a while to put the up online...but eventually they will.

My company has invested more than 18k this year in Razer hardware.

We are appalled with their lack of service and support.

This is certainly the first time I have ever witnessed a hardware device ship without drivers - even online.

They don't even have the Razer Blade Pro 2017 category available in their support section yet.

How a company could ship a premium product without getting ready for it is beyond me. Our customers certainly give us a hard time for a whole lot less.

They have let us know that their web team is "working" on getting the drivers up.

We are happy to lend them a hand - how hard can it be to upload a few files and edit an HTML page?

Its already been a few days.

No kidding, when the RB 14" kabylake was released they took more than a month put the drivers up, apparently a very complex job for them.

The touchpad driver is actually a broken link:

I can see they fixed the touchpad driver, but the other drivers are out of date.

The RAID driver is a huge problem; after converting my system from AHCI to RAID, it would not install the Intel Rapid Storage tool when I used their version - instead, failing with an error (without even a message - just a link to the log).

Lo and behold, the latest Intel Rapid Storage download from the Intel website *does* work. Thanks for nothing, Razer!

Additionally, the Intel Chipset driver included in this distribution is also out of date. The one available from the Intel website is current. If you try to install the Razer linked version on top of the current driver, it asks you to confirm a downgrade. Again, thank you very much, Razer!

I haven't checked the other drivers. Razer ought to compensate all their users...do I smell class action?

Don't you just hate it when decent hardware is hobbled by grossly incompetent software and/or drivers?

I cannot believe Cortex consumes about 10% CPU on *idle* on an 8-core system (meaning it uses almost 100% of one core), and claims to accelerate games. Add insult to injury!

I'm spending the long weekend here optimizing my Surface Book disk:
    SnapShot2.jpg
This is the only optimization software I have found which actually *works*.

On that note, don't you love it when Microsoft claims third party drivers are to blame for issues in Windows, and then ships a Surface Book with buggy `third party` drivers!!!

    Still optimizing!

The one thing DiskZIP could do better is change optimization methods *without* requiring an external Backup Disk. I had ran out of space on the Surface Book and switched to MaxSpace for the best compression.

Now I'm switching back to MaxSpeed for the greatest acceleration, and it has to backup to and copy from the Backup Disk:

What usually takes minutes (in-line re-optimization) is now taking hours...

C'mon guys, you implemented in-line re-optimization one year ago - how much longer do you need to in-line an optimization method change?
