Problem is that I don't prefer tap to click on my touchpad, so I disabled it in the Synaptics TouchPad settings. But everytime Razer Synapse reengages (so quitting and relaunching it/ waking PC from sleep/ restarting) the Synaptics TouchPad tap-to-click settings in the hardware properties is reverted. Now all I can do to temporarily disable it again is by reloading a profile or have the setting in Synaptics TouchPad v7.10 manually checked and unchecked. And it comes back again when Synapse reengages.

Does anyone have a solution for this? Please help!

PS I don't know if the problem is universal for all other settings in the Synaptics TouchPad Settings such as scrolling, touch zones etc etc because I am only hoping to solve this one small annoying issue.

I noticed that lunching Synapse causes mouse settings reset; you either need to let Synapse boot up with all of its components and services or never launch it manually.

Not sure if my problem (it resets enhanced precision settings, FB 2015) is related to yours, but you might want to give it a try.

    Thanks for the reply.
But I am not sure what you meant. Synapse boots with the system at the moment and I usually wait until all the auto launch programme settled before using the laptop, what do you mean by boot up with all of its components? And if I do that does it solve the problem - no longer reset my settings?

    Thanks in advance

If you didn't disable anything from the boot up services/apps it should all be there, so this "fix" would not apply, sorry.
It fixed the problem for me :/
