Razer Blade Advanced 2019 V2

Hey there,

It seems I join these forums whenever I purchase a laptop.
Last time it was when I got the Asus U6SG as per the advice here and this time I ended up with a Razer product as it was an opportunity I could not refuse.

Originally I wanted a gaming laptop and was willing to get a thick boy but then I realized that I would prefer portability as during my Ski Holiday in the Alps I had difficulties playing around with my GoPro footage so I changed the scope of this laptop.

The laptop will arrive on Monday and I was looking at some accessories. One of them was a sleeve and I noticed that people here on the forums have tried the official 15.6 inch one but it was like a discarded item from an older brother. Did Razer end up making one that makes the blade fit snug or the one I see on the website is the older brother version?

What are some basic accessories I would need for this laptop?
Where is the 2019 Model owner's club with the RTX version?

 

On 2018 model yeah the original sleeve was too big, idk if their made some improvement. But on Razer forum user found sleeve that fits well, actually it is not made for Blade but for a mouse pad lol.

I use MacBook Pro 15 leather sleeve btw, of course not original one look like one from eBay, fit well with a bit effort since Blade is thicker, but width and length are pretty similar, only need to use small armor bag for ac adapter and pheriperals like mouse and game controller.

This is “unofficial” rtx owner club, made that, dunno why there’s no official owner lounge, maybe because I don’t have rtx Blade lol.

There’s a lot mat to go that you can put between screen and keyboard, I know only from Razer, like for hard is sphex v1/v2 mini and for soft, goliathus stealth edition (new version from kabuto, if you can find kabuto, it’s better since it’s soft enough to use as screen cleaner)...yes I like also some creativity sometimes. But I’ve already dozens mats lying around . Yeah that’s quite old product and Razer is too lazy restocking old things.

As this was a very good deal, it is a model with the 144Hz and the older CPU. I was worried to buy the newer one due to the thermal problems that may arise.

 

Yeah it’s good time actually buying rtx Blade with 8750H. If I were you I would also do the same...Other part of me want that Oled though But €3600 lol.
