This is a question for those who have a second internal msata SSD in their Blade.

Last week I swapped out a 480GB msata for a new 1TB msata in the second msata slot. I then placed the unused 480GB into a USB 3 enclosure. I tested the real life speeds of transfer (by transfering a 9GB file of photos) both as an internal msata and then as a USB3 external SSD.

What I found was that the transfer was actually some 20% faster from c: drive to external USB enclosure than from c: drive to internal d: drive of exactly the same msata SSD. Now this seems very strange to me - theoretically esata is faster (6Gps) is faster than USB 3 (5Gps) and furthermore USB 3 is slowed down by its overhead.

So I wondered what sort of real life transfer speeds everyone was getting between their 2 internal msata SSDs. Obviously this test is quite different than simply doing an ATTO or Crystaldisk speed test of the drive itself.
