So theres a 2013 demo model razer blade 2013 on for sale a store in my area.
At this time and price point, would you guys say its worth it? (there's a 15 day return policy but I happen to work there too so I don't want to return it if its not necessary)

My budget for a laptop was around $1200 but for the sake of a long term investment it can be stretched a little.

I've looked at a few reviews and the only thing that people don't like are the screen. I'm asking for insight and if people are still happy with theirs. For the same price I could also look at getting a macbook retina and not have to worry about reliability of a demo model.

Not sure why you would get it over the p34g v2. Same price, except the gigabyte has an exponentially better screen and a much better GPU.

256GB Version and wow didn't notice that. Thanks! I'll keep it in mind.

I'm interested in battery life. I wont always be gaming and outside of gaming I'd like a pretty decent battery life. I'll look in to it though. Thanks!

Battery life is great. I get around 8 hours coding with light browsing. If you don't need that much (like only 4-5), then I would consider the p34gv2 for portability or the w230ss for price.

Amazon was selling these new for the same price so I wouldn't buy a used one for $1500. Razer also has refurbished models starting at $1259......
